Some wines, specifically made from pinot noir grapes contain a lot of Resveratrol,( a kind of polyphenol) which is said to have beneficial health attributes. Its mostly present in the skin of the grapes, and is what the grape itself uses to combat or as a self defense mechanism against certain fungi that are bad for grapes.
The actual benefits or the reasons why it works are still being studied.
