What is the difference between coffee bean and espresso?
what is the caffeine difference?
Espresso and coffee beans aren't quite comparable, as espresso is a brewing method, and can use any kind of coffee bean.
That being said, espresso has a higher caffeine content than regular drip brewer coffee:
Espresso has an average of 72mg caffeine per oz whereas drip brewed coffee has only 13.5mg per oz.
In case you're interested in more coffee information, I've written a three part series on coffee.
