What is a good way to spread Gorgonzola or similar crumbled cheese into celery or onto crackers?
I would say, allow the cheese to soften at room temperature, then "mush it all up" with a fork into a ball or pasty consistency, (add a dash of milk if needed), then spread on the crackers, if serving a few crackers as a snack.
For a party, why not form the softened cheese into a ball, roll in chopped nuts, and leave out on a plate with a cheese spreader?
I love Gorgonzola. There was a local place that used to serve a Gorgonzola salad. It was a bed of greens with the crumbled cheese throughout. I have a cheese spreader that helps spread cheese in to celery. It's also good served on little tea sandwiches with cucumbers.
