Are you looking for the perfect egg slicer?

Updated on January 5, 2013

Hard boiled egg slicers for all kitchens

Want to make and serve the perfect egg sandwich? It all starts with having a good egg slicer. When buying a new egg slicer there are a few things to keep in mind. You want a quality egg cutter, it doesn't have to be made of stainless steel, but you don't want to purchase an egg slicer made out of too cheap plastic.

Egg slicers are not the most expensive kitchen tool out there, but there is still a big different in prices, don't always go with the cheapest option though as you often get what you pay for and end up with an egg slicer that breaks after only a few uses. Or you get an egg cutter with a sturdy frame, but with strings that are not staying tight.

The egg slicers below has been carefully chosen based on good reviews, good versatility and because they generally have everything you need in an egg slicer.

Every kitchen needs a decent boiled egg slicer, do you have one amongst your kitchen tools?

Compact egg slicer option

This might not be the most fancy egg slicer in the world, but you get a lot of different tools in a very compact package. If you are tight on space in your kitchen, then this egg cutter tool is for you. It allows you to slice, wedge and half your eggs and it can even be used for cutting strawberries, mushrooms or other food that requires slicing.

Big an versatile egg slicer option

This is a bigger egg slicer, but it allows you to cut two eggs at once albeit to use for different purposes. While the frame is made of plastic, the cutting wires sits tight and cuts easily. The tool goes into the dishwasher, but it can also easily be cleaned with a wet wipe if this is done right after use. If you are not stuck for space in your kitchen cupboard then this could be the perfect egg slicer for you.
