How to make deviled eggs, super easy!

Deviled eggs are a delicious and great looking appetizer for any party, and the best part is they are incredibly easy to make! This is a base recipe, so feel free to add your own twist. Add parsley, olives, pimentos, relish... whatever you think will taste good.

Equipment

small mixing bowl
fork
1/3 measuring cup
measuring teaspoon
knife
plate
piping bag with star tip, optional

Ingredients

7 hard boiled eggs, shelled
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1 1/2 teaspoon mustard
pinch salt
paprika, optional

Start by cutting all your eggs in half lengthwise. Empty the yolks into your bowl and lay the halves hole side up on your plate.

Lightly mash the yolks with a fork.

Add the mayonnaise, mustard and salt. Mash and mix together until smooth (-ish, there will still be small lumps)

Either pipe or spoon your filling into holes of the egg whites.

Sprinkle with paprika and serve

      These recipe is delicious, I have a similar recipe but is made with low fat greek yoghurt, 1 tea spoon of honey, a little of finely chopped onion and , of course, the eggs. It is ideal for eating un hour before to practice some sport or workout. One of these days I will post the recipe. :)

      Mark, Thank you for your nice comment! I can't believe you raise chickens and don't make deviled eggs! ^_^ If I raised chickens I'd be eating deviled eggs every other day... Have fun and enjoy.

      This is a base recipe, altering and adjusting to your taste is encouraged! I love cooking to the tastes of who I'm serving so I add what I know they like. I haven't tried chives before... that sounds wonderful! I guess I'm making deviled eggs today ^_^

      Sometimes I like to add a few chopped chives if I have them but your recipe works fine.
