Mango shrikhand recipe
1/2 kg plain curd (full-fat, or fat free curd)
1/2 cup powdered sugar or 8 to 10 drops of artificial sweetner(for diabetic patient)
2 pinch of saffron
4 to 5 cardamom seed powder
1 ripe mango pieces or mango puree
3 to 4 tablespoon or 1/4 cup cleaned raisins golden raisins
14 cup pistachios plain
Method to make mango shrikhand:-
Tie the curd in a muslin cloth and Hang the curds in a cool place until the whey in the curd has drained .Rub the saffron into the warm milk in a bowl until it dissolves and gives its colour,now Mix the hung curds, sugar, saffron mixture and cardamom and mango puree or cut pieces in a bowl and with a hand blender mix carefully all the ingredients well. Place the preparation in the refrigerator and when it becomes cold Serve it garnish the shreekhand with finely chopped pistachios and almonds and sprinkle cardamon powder and few strands of saffron before serving .
IN A SIMILAR WAY WE CAN USE OTHER FRUITS SUCH A STRAWBERRY, APPLE ,CHERRY TO MAKE SHREEKHAND .
