"Million dollar cream cheese pound cake"

"Million dollar cream cheese pound cake"

Ingredients:

1 8oz. cream cheese (soften at room temperature).

1 pd.grade A butter (soft).

3 cups sugar

3 cup sifted cake flour

6 eggs

1 cup pecan pieces

1 cup chocolate chips

1/2 toasted coconut

Directions to prepare:

Mix cream cheese & butter together, alternate 1 cup sugar, 1 cup cake flour and 2 eggs. Mix and alternate ingredients until sugar, flour and eggs are all mixed together by hand.  Then add : 2 tsp. vanilla extract.  Blend all ingredients with spoon by hand.    Add: pecans pieces, chocolate chips, and coconut, mix well with spoon.  oil bundt pan and flour it, pour in batter and put in cold oven. turn oven on at 250 degrees cook for 30 minutes then turn oven up to 350 degrees and cook cake for 45 to 55 minutes or until done. Let cool and turn onto a cake plate.

slice  eat and enjoy, it will literly melt in you mouth; you want believe you made such a delectable treat.

      You know creativeone59 - my mother, a real Southern cook used to make these fabulous cakes - and we never got fat. They were made with real ingredients - not this store bought junk that we call cakes, and pies, etc. filled with trans fats and artificial toxic this and that. I did a slide show here on hub pages of the cake queen who has a bakery here. She uses fresh ingredients and we are all happy!

      There is nothing like a slice of real cake. By the way - that coconut in your cake is a great addition!
