OWN UP! OWN UP!!!! Someone´s Eaten All The Pies.

Updated on February 5, 2015
Guess who ate all the pies...
Guess who ate all the pies...

tasty treats are pies of allsorts.

Own up.! Own up!, . Who ate all the pies?

Meaty pies with gravy, apple pies with cream,

Come on, someone´s guilty......

Who ate all the pies?

No need to look too far,

Picture´s right above you.,

Flabby arms and chubby faces,

staring back at you.

Do you really need to ask......

Who ate all the pies.?

Look again at photograph,

Did you ever see such grins??

No guilty look, just rounded girths

Faces show there´s only mirth.

¨cos they ate all the pies.

Don´t make such a fuss, man.

We know it´s Ron and Dave.

You think they´d never do such things,

But look again at those grins......

THEY ate all the pies.

Dave and Ron, no longer slim,

Cannot help but sit and grin,

Can´t stand up, anyway,

Far too full of pies....Hooray!!!

What we need is air brushing....

It is the latest craze,

Then , slim they´d look and innocent,

But they STILL ate all the pies.

    let me add

    if i may say

    lets just airbrush

    the pies away

    Not only is it

    something that's in

    Ron and Dave then

    can be really thin.

I loved the match of photo to words.

    Here's a little riposte:

And who took all the drink?

Asked Diana with a wink -

I'll tell you what I think

Just check whose cheeks are pink!

Ha! Ha! Sunnie, So good to see you.

This little nonsense poem came to me when I found this pic of us.

I was horrified at how flabby we looked, so I just had to make a joke of it,

Problem is, My husband is such a good cook. It´s not easy keeping down the weight, but I´m glad to say we don´t look quite like this pic anymore.

Thanks so much for your comment.
