Easy Recipes for Healthy Bread
The benefits and high nutritional value of whole oats are well known in the battle against high cholesterol. High fiber diets also have many other health benefits. Our favorite Oat bread recipe includes the addition of nuts (we like walnuts) 15 minutes into the first cycle, which adds to the health benefits and the taste.
Using a Bread Machine
Read all the instructions in the owner's manual of your machine, because bread machines vary.
Add ingredients in the order specified for your machine. Ninety percent of the machines start with the water, but check to make sure.
For best results, make sure all ingredients are at room temperature unless specified otherwise.
