8 Reasons Why Mario is Better than Luigi

1. Mario is a Leader

Mario isn't the type of fictional character to sit back and to let life pass him by. He's the type of guy to take charge, even if he has a sidekick/less chosen character/backup guy that is constantly in his shadow. He knows what has to be done and will do anything to get the job done. Whether it is rescuing the princess and defeating Bowser or racing go karts and playing golf. Mario is the man!

2. Mario wears his red proudly

In case some of you did not know, Mario wears his red and blue overalls better that Luigi wears his green and blue overalls. Red is seen as a color that represents dominance and someone that is in charge, whereas blue and green are seen as calm colors that offers honesty and sincerity. So, its quite clear why Mario is the one who is always in front and chosen most often.

3. Luigi is Clumsy

Whenever you have to use Luigi as a backup guy or just in general, he always causes you to lose right away. I don't know if its because he's too tall, which causes us gamers a lack of visualization. I just don't know what his deal is. The main reason why he is chosen less often is because people see that Mario is in charge and they respect that. Luigi is the type of plumber that causes you to throw the remote control and to give up on the game that you are playing. He is also the type of person, who doesn't care about losing.

4. Luigi is Too Tall

Even in the photo to the right, you can clearly see that he wants to be larger than life. Sometimes, I feel that being tall helps him to build confidence and to be more secure about himself. But the problem is that he is so tall that his clothes don't even look as if they fit him half the time. They seem as if they were made for a short person and that they didn't have any more clothes for him. I feel sorry for him in the fact that he was handed Mario's hand me downs. Im sorry Luigi Im so sorry.

5. Mario is Short

Everyone loves a short plumber that has a little extra meat on him. Short people rule by default. Also. since Mario is so short he is able to maneuver easily through the Mario games by ducking and easily jumping over objects that are in his way. He looks very hip and in the zone, when he's able to transform into something else or is able to become a larger form of himself.

6. Luigi's mustache looks like a Victoria Secrets bra

All you have to do is look to your right and stare at the mustache. What do you see ? Thats right you see it, dont you ? Every time you look at Luigi's mustache, you will forever see it. A black look alike Victoria secrets bra. On the other hand, Mario's mustache looks nothing like a Victoria Secrets bra. Luigi you have a bra as your mustache. Not cool not cool at all.

7. Mario's clothes were made for him

Mario's clothes look as if they were meant for him. You know as in predestined things or life altering events that may change your future. Well, in Mario's case, these clothes were perfect and meant to be for him that is. Luigi's clothesdon't fit him all that well. They seem to be too small and to be barely making it.

8. Luigi is always following behind Mario

Normally, as Mario is always chosen, Luigi is naturally following behind Mario. I feel that Luigi should take charge and stop being belittled by Mario. Mario is not your boss. Even most of the games start of with Mario's Kart Game or Mario's this or that. You never ever see Luigi's name being first. Mainly, because Mario's name is well known and well Luigi, you are second string.

Which fictional character do you think is better ?
