10 Amazing Mesh Clothing Stores in Second Life
Where to find beautiful mesh clothing for your avatar
Although mesh clothing has been around for a quite a while on Second Life, it's still a long way from being fully adopted by the players. I personally tend to dress my avatar in little else these days, although I can see why you wouldn't. Aside from the issues with older viewers not rendering your clothing, or not supporting alpha layers, there's also some pretty ugly mesh content around. However if you're getting ready to embrace mesh, but aren't yet convinced, I've put together my top ten of mesh clothing providers. These stores are creating beautiful pieces that have to be worn to believed.
This list isn't in any particular order. All of these stores are amazing, and it would be mental to try and decide which is the best.
1. coldLogic
coldLogic makes some incredibly beautiful clothing, leaning toward realistic, classy styles. It's the type of store where you really just want to own one of everything. The pieces are generally simple, classic and beautifully finished.

2. ISON
ISON tends towards more interesting geometric pieces and unconventional styles, but each one is finished beautifully, and they look really great when worn. I have quite a few pieces from ISON that I tend to mix and match with stuff from other stores.

3. e r r a t i c
erratic's work has a distinctly modern edge, with everything from cocktail dresses and men's suits, to leather jackets on display. They really shine when it comes to colour, with some nice bright pieces to break up the usual stream of biege that tends to haunt the mesh clothing world.

4. Valentina E.
Valentina E has a pretty extensive catalogue of clothing. The cuts are pretty unique and interesting, and the designs are well thought out. I think this store is definitely one of my favourites in terms of pattern. Valentina sets her stuff apart from the crowd by using some really great fabrics and textures compared to the norm.

Leverocci create classy, elegant clothing and footwear, as Italian-inspired as the name sounds. Their Atlantis boots are fantastic, and available in a good few colours to match up with your outfits.

Ingenue have gone for a retro, vintage feel to their clothing, keeping a realistic look while conjuring up images of times past. They are also great for mix-and-match outfits, as they have a lot of single pieces that work well with clothing from other designers.

Geometry make some great simple single pieces, as well as elegant gowns. The one thing that makes them stand out from the crowd, and really shine, is their maternity wear. They have a small but really nice selection of dresses for the pregnant avatar, a niche that isn't catered to very much.
