Check Minimum System Requirement:

You won't be able to play game if your system does not meet minimum system requirement of Minecraft. Below is given recommended system requirement for optimal performance of MC.

2. Download JRE 1.7

3. Go to Start | Search "command prompt"

      Enabling VSync in any application or game will never improve frame rates but instead will make it worse. Enabling sync forces the frame buffer to wait for the second frame so that the picture will be smoother and the transition between frames will be unnoticeable. All this does is prevent "graphical tearing" which is when the picture suddenly "tears". It's a visible occurrence that will never be noticed on powerful systems. It can sometimes be very noticeable on older computers however, especially in older OS's such as Windows XP when dragging a window around the screen. You can see the window "tear" as it moves left and right. Enabling Vsync doubles the amount of time and power required to prevent the this tearing and should only be used on powerful systems. You will ALWAYS see improvement in performance with vsync disabled.
