A BC Football Cards Red Backs
1974/75 A&BC Football Cards - Red Backs
This set of Football Cards was the last set produced by A&BC or American and British Chewing Gum Ltd, before the court case between the company and Topps and the subsequent shutting down of their operation. This set had red backs to the cards hence the popular name "Red Backs" and was only a small set of 132 cards with most teams only having 5 or 6 players shown. All 22 First Division clubs were represented.
These Football cards are quite rare now especially since there was only a small set but they do occasionally come up for purchase on Ebay at reasonable prices.
