What Am I?
Look at me I am a shell,
May not break though if I fell.
Some may see me as a well,
Next to those shaped like a bell.
Sometimes I can be so bright,
But I will not shine at night.
I'm not able to make light,
But sometimes I can take your sight.
Watch me go I slide around,
Careful that you don't fall down.
Now you are on the ground,
But still I do not make a sound.
I come in all colors and shapes,
Never use me on great apes.
Perhaps I'd be used on your drapes,
Or just to make all smell like grapes.
Some may have me in their purse,
Others use me in a hearse.
Deep in a cut I make you curse,
I'm essential and the pain is terse.
May not find me at the store,
People seem to want some more.
Better show them to the door,
Making me was quite the chore.
Easy... Hopefully
I'm really struggling with creating easier riddles, but this time I am sure it is an easy one. It's really hard to blend figurative speech and literal observations without making everything too "out there" you know? Then again, some people say that is the fun in my riddles, the difficulty.
