Free Games That Are Worthwhile

There are hundreds of free kindle games available on the kindle for downloading. However, many of them are not worth the time, as after a moment of playing them, you will immediately want to erase them. Luckily there are a handful of free games that are well worth your time and will keep you engaged and coming back to play them for a long time to come.

If you are like me, you will want to use the free games before you consider paying for anything. There are lots of free games to choose from. Some of them are set up so that you play them at a basic level, and you are requested to make a payment for a higher level of playing. Once this happens, I usually stop playing and begin looking for another game that is equally as enjoyable. I have not encountered this with the free kindle games I have suggested below.

List of Best Free Kindle Games

Farkle:Similar to Yatzee, this game is based mostly on luck, with a little bit of strategy and some foresight involved. Play for chips or play an online competitor for chips. You can bet as little as 50 chips or thousands of them. You will receive a daily bonus of 200 chips each time you play, potentially keeping you in the positive. You will be prompted to buy chips, but this will not be necessary if you play your dice right.

Temple Run: This is a fast-paced, animated, virtual game, where you are the runner, running from some scary-looking monster-like creatures. The path you are running on looks like an old brick bridge that goes on seemingly forever in all directions. You will have to leap over obstacles and broken parts of the bridge, try to collect gold coins, and make rapid turns to stay in the game. This game requires fast reflexes and repeated trials, learning from mistakes.

Six Towers:Strategic planning is necessary to beat this game of order and sequence. You will find jumbled up pieces that have to be arranged into 6 towers containing 6 pieces each, numbered 1 to 6. There are rules however, that have to be followed for successful moves to be made. This game is easily learned by simply playing it, and keeps you coming back for more, as you complete each level and the challenges get tougher.

Solitaire by Mobilityware: Choose the type of deal, random, winning, multiplayer, or replay.Play by yourself of against a competitor online. Options of redoing a play or getting a hint are also available. There are several solitaire games to choose from, but this one has great graphics, clarity, and ease of play.

Flow Free: A very engaging game requiring you to drag lines to connect matching colors with dots on the board, creating a flow. The objective is to pair all line colors without crossing other lines, and to cover the board to solve each puzzle. Each puzzle gets progressively harder and it is quite addictive. If you like simple and entertaining puzzles then you will love the game Flow Free. A brightly-colored board with 600 levels will keep you playing for quite a while.

Flow Free: Bridges: Just like Flow Free, but with one added bridge connection on each board, allowing two lines to overlap. Surprisingly this component adds a new challenge, and does not make the game any easier.

Jewels: This is a colorful and fun version of match 3 where you slide objects to make 3 or more of a color line up and disappear. Can be set for free play, timed play, or quick mode. Jewels will force you to plan ahead and recognize patterns quickly. Create combinations of three or more horizontally or vertically. A hint feature shows you the next move if you are stuck.

Andoku: Similar to the popular game of Sudoku, but with a variety of frame designs for the numbers 1 to 9 to fit into, this game gives a new challenge. Choose levels ranging from very easy to extreme. Andoku hass 6 sudoku variations, 8 levels of difficulty and comes with 10,000 puzzles.

4 Pics 1 Word: Guess the Word: Look at 4 pictures and come up with the word all 4 have in common. You are given 12 letters to form a work with. This is a fun and addictive game for those who love word games. You will enjoy playing this with friends and family members. There is also an option to purchase digital content using money.

Ruzzle: Fun and fast-paced word game requiring you to think of words in a period of 2 minutes by swiping your finger across the screen. Play 3 matches to see who wins. Letter scores, word length, and bonus pieces give you more chances to earn a higher score. This is a fun and challenging game of word play.
