Black Ops 2 Zombies Tips and Tricks For New Players.

Updated on January 10, 2013

Black Ops 2 has been out for a while now, and through my experience with the game, I have learnt a thing or two about playing zombies. Whilst for the majority of the time I would find myself playing solo, there were a few occasions when I found a good lobby of random players, or I hooked up with some of my friends and began to slaughter the zombie hoards.

This hub will be sharing my experience with the game, as well as some top tips for doing better in the zombies game mode.

Play to Earn Points.

One of the best tips that I can give for new and experienced Black Ops 2 zombies players, is that you should always start off playing to gain as many points as possible. By doing this, you are able to purchase more perks sooner, and you are able to spin the mystery box a few times to find the best weapon possible.

From my experience, the most effective way to do this is to shoot the zombies with your pistol multiple times, and then finish them off with a knife hit. In Black Ops 2 zombies, you gain 10 points per shot fired at a zombie, and 130 points for kill them with the knife. Therefore, to maximise how many points you can acquire from each kill, you need to use both your gun and knife.

Another good way of racking up many points is to round up all the zombies into a large group, and then fire through them. By doing this, you are going to be maximising how man points you are going to be getting per shot, and therefore how many points you are going to be accumulating.

Play with friends or professionals.

There is no doubt that one of the greatest helps in Black Ops 2 zombies, is to have a good team-mate to help you.

Not only can they revive you unlimited times in case you are taken down, but they can also be very helpful with getting to various places within the Tranzit map, or giving you points when you run out through the bank system. However, it is important that you always play with someone who either is a professional at the game, or at least knows that you want to play well, so that they do not mess about or 'troll' you whilst playing.

If you do not have any friends to play with, then you should look on one of the many Black Ops 2 forums, to find any professional players who are willing to help you.

Use the Best Guns.

A final very important tips for new players to Black ops 2 Zombies, is that you should always use the best guns at your disposal. Except for in the early rounds...

During the first 5 rounds of zombies, you should always try to maximise your points by using the pistol and the knife but after that, you should make it your goal to use the best guns in the game.Otherwise, you will find yourself struggling to kill the increasingly larger groups of zombies, and more often than not you will eventually go down.

Some gun recommendations are the...

· Ray gun.

· The Galil.

· The HAMR.

· The LSAT.

· The RPD.

As you will notice, the majority of these guns in this list are light machine guns, and this is because they are all have good size magazines, as well as a decent fire rate/damage against zombies.

In addition, if you have speed-cola, you can significantly reduce the amount of time that it takes to reload. Making the light machine guns some of the best guns available for the zombies game modes.
