In Shadows of Evil, the Wonder Weapon must be built from three parts before it can be acquired. The Apothicon Servant is built from three parts scavenged from the Margwa, Plants, and other minor bosses.

This guide will explain the steps necessary to find the three parts and how to build the weapon once the parts have been completed.

Parts Needed:

  • Margwa Heart
  • Margwa Tentacle
  • Xenomatter

Margwa Heart

The Margwa Heart is often the first part found in a game. This part can be dropped by slayed Margwas, and is often dropped by the first Margwa that is killed. If it is not picked up, another Margwa will later drop the heart.

The heart is small and easy to overlook. It is brown and green, with a slight glow. To pick up the heart first approach it, then press and hold your action button. A pop-up will appear, telling you that you picked up the Margwa Heart.

The Margwa Tentacle can be found by harvesting purple plants.

Margwa Tentacle

The Margwa Tentacle can be harvested from purple plants using the Fumigator. Plants start off as green, then turn red, and finally turn purple. The plants will take at least 9 rounds to mature, but will take even longer if players continue to harvest them early.

The tentacle is small and green, but normally not overlook due to it coming directly from a plant. Approach the part, then press and hold your action button in order to pick it up.

Xenomatter is dropped by the yellow flying creatures and exploding meatballs.

Xenomatter

Xenomatter is dropped by both the exploding meatballs and the yellow flying creatures. They normally appear during special rounds, but will also appear during normal rounds late in the game and from the Margwas.

This is the largest part, which resembles a a large pile of bright green grapes. They are picked up in a similar fashion to the other two parts.

Building the Apothicon Servant

The Apothicon Servant can be built at any of the Building Stations that are not currently being used by the Zombie Shield. You must have all three parts before you can begin building this item. It is not built one piece at a time as seen in previous maps.

Steps for Building The Shield:

  1. Collect the Three Parts
  2. Approach a Building Station, then press and hold your action button.
  3. Wait for the weapon to finish building.

Other Useful Information

  • The Apothicon Servant is built in the same fashion as the Siliquifier in Die Rise, except all three pieces must be collected before starting the build.
  • This weapons shoots blacks, which will suck in everything except Margwas, the Civil Defender, and players.
  • This weapon can be upgraded, but not by using the Pack-a-Punch Machine.
