K'nex Nascar was a new range of NASCAR-themed building toys released in 2010 by K'nex. K'nex obtained the NASCAR the franchise to produce NASCAR themed toys in June 2009 and these new building toys will be specially designed for children ages 5 to 12 - a core audience for K'NEX construction toys and NASCAR alike. The relationship means K’NEX Brands will produce interlocking construction building sets in the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. This combines the award-winning K’NEX building system with the fast-paced world of NASCAR racing.

K'Nex are an American based Toy Company and were founded in 1992. K'NEX produces building blocks that are exactly similar to Lego and they hold many licensing agreements to produce related items plus other sets. These sets are similar in design and size to Lego sets and make a good alternative to Lego sets for Christmas and Birthday presents particularly since many of the franchise lines are exclusive to K'Nex.

This set was released in January 2010 and features a buildable model of Jeff Gordon's 24 DuPont/Pepsi Car. This set contained 106 pieces plus an awesome Jeff Gordon K'NEXman.

The car itself is a great interactive model with rods and connectors, as well as wheels for push play. Once it's built the car measures 7" in length, which is 1:29 scale, it comes complete with custom parts, sponsor logos and color scheme and so resembles the real thing.
