Lego World Racers is a new Racer related Lego Theme that was first produced in 2010 and was similar to other Lego Racer series. The theme has two different teams (or factions) racing against each other, the X-treme Daredevils and the Backyard Blasters.

World Racer sets consist of several vehicles in a habitat-related place, like canyons, deserts, ice places, reefs and swamps. The vehicles have weapons mounted on their vehicles to fight with, such as dynamite or big guns and some of sets also have an orange colored referee to hold the trophy or judge the race.

The Desert of Destruction set was released in 2010 and contains two dune buggies and a truck to carry the cars also included are 8 minifigures, MAX-treme, DEX-treme, REX-treme, Bart Blaster, Bubba Blaster, 2 Crew Members and a Race Official. The set contains a massive 961 pieces.

The World Race Powerboat set was a Promotional Set released in 2010 and contains the X-treme Daredevils Powerboat along with a minifigure of REX-treme. The set contains only 27 pieces.
