Call of duty: Black Ops

Updated on July 5, 2010

It's finally time, for the new Call of duty game which will be released NOVEMBER 9 OF THIS YEAR. Now the trailer that Activision released still leaves many questions, like when the game will take place in, and if it'll be as good as modern warfare 2. You can see the trailer at the bottom of this hub and see for yourself. I looked at the trailer many times, and it seems as if you play an American solider that has been held captive and some crazy Russian Scientist is taking you into the past and future of war. It might take you as far as WW2 and to Vietnam where all the rumors might have come from, and then take you to the future of WW3 or something like that. I hope you get to control vehicles like in other video games, but i doubt it. There might be a mission where you control the helicopter and you have to pick up and drop off soldiers in the hot L z's(landing zones for helicopters). I don't think you'll control a tank cause i don't think they really used tanks during the Vietnam war, but who knows? The game will obviously be for Mature players, but i'm sure 10 years will still get there parents to buy the game for them, so they'll be playing online and bug other players. Microsoft will try to make some deal to be the first with the new game packs, like they did with Modern warfare 2, so it be best to have an xbox 360, or just wait 1 to 2 months for the new game packs. Watch the trailer at the bottom and try to tell what the game will be about, and leave a comment at the bottom and share what you think the game will be about.

The game Developer

The game developer is Treyarch, and was the developer for Call of duty World at War. If you liked World at War then you most likely like Call of Duty: Black Ops. Black Ops would be taking place behind enemy lines, but behind enemy lines doesn't really answer the question of where the game will take place, but it does mean that your character will be captive by some type of enemy. The enemy you might be fighting might be the Russians like modern warfare, or Vietnamese soldiers, who knows- Activision that's who. Eventually a new trailer will come out and will answer the W's (who, what, where, when, why).

Trailer Explained

When you look at the trailer you see in the beginning that it looks all high tech into the future, but then when you continueto watch you see old cars, and out of date weapons from the Vietnam war. In the back ground it sounds like a Russian, a character from the modern warfare games, Makarov. It seems like you have been taken back through your memoires or osmething like that where you see from the past war of Vietnam, and then during the modern warfare. Black ops means that there is no responsability for a type of action, or crime, which probally means that something happen and you have to find out who was involved, why'll the bad guy is trying to kill you and your teams mates. Later on new trailers will come out and explain the game more. So far i'm still not impressed, later on with the new pictures, and trailers i'll probally get there, until then will all just have to wait.

Better, same, or worse than The Newer call of duty games?

I think they are going to sacrifice reality for expansive game play and I think they are going in a bad direction, but no doubt it will still be fun.

I'm sorry to hear that, but it's a great game that many play way to much. Hope things get better.

I've seen all the videos and pictures released so far. Looks awesome. The most thing that is anticipated for me is the lean and new killstreaks.
