Viper and Storm both big lots of style and color to the arena

If you're on Character Analysis, then you're in the right place. This time, we look at two beautiful ladies of the brawl. Storm and C. Viper enter the ring.

C. Viper - Little is known about her past. People who have met her describe her as cold. She is a single mother motivated only by money and her daughter, Lauren. Working for the CIA as a double agent implanted inside SIN where she is given a battle suit capable of lighting, seismic, and pyrotechnic attacks.

- Power: 4/10
- Defense: 6/10
- Speed: 7/10
- Range: 3/10

Like most other women in the series, C. Viper is a hit-and-run melee character. Able to unload powerful combos and get out quickly. She is tough to beat at close range.

Specials
+ Thunder Knuckle - C. Viper streaks forward with a taser fist. By sacrificing one special level, it becomes an Ex-Thunder Knuckle which is unblockable and unstoppable.
+ Burning Kick - She stretches out her legs in a flaming kick.
+ Seismic Hammer - C. Viper pounds the ground, sending a seismic spike under the opponent.

Hypers
+ Lightning and Flame - Lv1 - C. Viper pounds her fists together, running forward doing a one-two combo with lightning fists, before doing two fiery somersault kicks.
+ Seismic Smackdown - Lv1 - C. Viper charges her fist before smacking down in a huge Seismic Hammer before doing four consecutive flaming kicks.
+ Full Power - Lv3 - C. Viper charges up her fists, before spinning the enemy in the air, meeting their chin with an uppercut, they both go into the air before she slams him/her into a lightning piledriver.

Storm - Ororo Munroe was born in New York City, the daughter of a Kenyan Tribal Princess and an American Photographer. When she was only a few months old, they moved to Cairo where her parents were killed by a crashing airplane during the Suez Crisis five years later. Orphaned and left in the backstreets of Cairo for weeks, she was taken in by Achmed el-Gibar and became a great thief. After being freed by Charles Xavier, She left for the Serengeti where her powers over the weather manifested and was made into a Princess by an African tribe. She was there for a time before being recruited in the X-Men by Professor X and was given her codename of Storm.

- Power: 5/10
- Defense: 6/10
- Speed: 4/10
- Range; 6/10

A ranged keepaway character with a few melee moves, Storm is definitely a top pick for a ranged team, but beware MVC2 fans, her famous Typhoon move requires 2 seconds to charge.

Specials
+ Whirlwind - Storm shoots a series of whirlwinds in a horizontal lines.
+ Typhoon - Storm charges before sending two Typhoons up to the sky.
+ Lightning Attack - Storm rushes forward with lightning like a spear. Direction controlled by player input and can be stringed many times.
+ Lightning Sphere - Storm fires a sphere of lightning. Comes in To-Ground and Air Versions.

Hypers
+ Ice Storm - Lv1 - Storm flies back and unleashes large icicles onto the entire screen.
+ Lightning Storm - Lv1 - Storm crosses her hands together and embroils all around her with lightning.
+ Power of Gaia - Lv1 - Storm freezes the enemy in a block of ice where she gather several typhoons around her and grinds them against the ice, sending the enemy to the other side of the screen.

That's it for this edition of Character Analysis. Next time, the Mayor of Metro City will square off with a cosmic wonder: Haggar and Phoenix take the stage.
