During the Christmas holiday shopping season, there is always a scramble over the Barbie Glamour Jet. On Black Friday, the Barbie Glamour Jet planes fly off the shelves. (Pun intended)

Before the holiday-shopping madness, the Barbie Glamour Jet could be found at a reasonable price, but now, some places are selling the play set for as much as $100! On Black Friday, some places were selling the Barblie Glamour Jet for just about $30.00 but within hours of the Doorbuster sales, most brick-and-mortar stores that carried the Barbie Glamour Jet were sold out, but some online retailers, like Amazon.com, still had the Barbie Glamour Jets.

Khols had a great deal on Barbie Glamour Jets on Black Friday, but due to heavy online traffic, the website was down. They had offered an "early bird" special where the regularly priced $79.99 Barbie Glamour Jet was on sale for $29.99. Khols apparently sold out of them quickly.

Barbie Glamour Jet Details

The Barbie Glamour Jet is a pink airplane that folds up for storage. The set comes with a Barbie doll with an extra bathing suit and 40 accessory pieces. The plane has room to hold two Barbies (with all their luggage.)

The Barbie Glamour Jet is recommended for ages 3 and up.

The Barbie Glamour Camper reminds me of the Barbie Camper I had as a child. (Although I remember mine being yellow, brown and way more rustic). Perhaps that's why this Barbie camper is called the Barbie Glamour Camper.

This luxury camper has a posh pop out tent with a chandelier, full bathroom with a flushing toilet and shower. It even has a flat screen TV and full kitchen with running water sounds. It folds up for easy storage.

The Barbie Glamour Camper includes the camper van, stickers and more than 30 accessories. It requires 3 AAA batteries.
