De Blob Walkthrough 21: Downtown Part 8, Sizzle Race, and Lost Freeway

Updated on March 30, 2009

Across the street from that will be the building with hot burners on the top.  This is where you followed the markers in the thirty-fourth challenge.  You can paint this for the Thirty-second Raydian Batch for a total of 294.

There is another building with burners (with a switch nearby to shut it off).  You will now have the Thirty-third Raydian Batch for a total of 302 Raydians.  Near this is the place with the Fourteenth Style, so get that.

There is another small place here this time with a Life up on top.  Get it and paint the house for the Thirty-fourth Raydian Batch for a total of 310.

There are three other places that need to be painted, and they are all located in the courtyard.   This will give you the Thirty-fifth Raydian Batch, the Thirty-sixth Raydian Batch, and the Thirty-seventh Raydian Batch for the final total of 334.

Some time while you are in this spot, you should hit the Third Transforms.  This will paint all 8 of the trees at once.  This will bring that Tree Total up to 49.

Nothing to do but find the last 2 trees, which are located directly near the exit pool.  Go ahead and take care of this, and your Tree Total will be 51, and you are done.  Exit from there unless you missed a spot.

Sizzle Race

This one really isn’t too difficult.  In fact, you may be reminded of a marker challenge when you play this one.

What you need to do is just follow the markers.  You should take the advice of targeting a paintbot whenever you have a complication in jumping.

You can hit a switch to turn off the burners in this one area, but you will have to do one sticky roll on a wall to get to one marker.  Don’t forget that.

The rest of the moves involve some targeting to get in between burners.  The paintbots are there to make that easy.

Lost Freeway

This one involves starting with a lot of paint points, and then being asked to paint a section.  The problem is you have to go through a lot of cars to get to it.

This is one of those times where my strategy guide probably isn’t going to help you.  Because all I can say is: “follow the markers, be careful”.

I can tell you a time saving way of painting the corners.  Go around the sidewalks at this time square, and you can leap over the walls that block the sidewalks.  You can then go in the central area and get them all there.  Good luck on this one.
