Fifa 11 Tips For Improving Your Virtual Pro

Updated on June 4, 2011

So fifa 11 is out and has started to take over peoples lives again i see!!,well it must be time for a load of new hubs, starting with this one on how to improve your virtual pro,now if truth be told i didn't enter this mode much in last years game as it didn't really interest me,but i thought what the hell I'll have a closer look this year and see if i spend enough time with it i can write a couple of help guides for the people finding it tough. Now in my opinion the thing you need to do first and quickly is to increase your pro' stats and that's probably what stopped me playing be a pro in fifa 10 as i got bored of running around with Manchester Utd when my overall stats were 73.Well with the following guide you should be able to get your pro up to around the 80 mark then the rest is up to you.If you get as far as opening the Rising Star achievement then you are half way there. You get that achievement for getting 100 accomplishments with your pro, this guide should easily get you 200 accomplishments which should get your pro to that 80 odd overall score.Good Luck

The first thing you are going to need to do is create a player, now this might sound simple but its not,its a matter of where your player is playing and what main characteristics you would like him to have.If you want him to be quick, then you need to create a light but tall pro,if you want someone who is strong and wont be shaken off the ball then go for a Rooney type player, shortish and heavier. Now make sure you have 2 or 3 careers saved so that you can drop your pro into any of the teams you have at any time. This will come in handy later on.Now when you first start playing simply go to the arena and score some goals and do some tricks to get the majority of your arena accomplishments out of the way,if your not sure of the tricks there is a full list in the settings screen.Once you have finished or nearly finished at the arena it is time to use some dastardly tactics!!!.

Dastardly Tactics

This is where it gets fun, first things first create a player and make him a goalie, next make him as short as you can,i think its 5ft4 and then make him as heavy as they get which from memory is around 240-250 lbs now that looks like a useless goalkeeper eh?.Next lower all his stats on the goalkeeper side of things ad then add him to a rubbish club in the Npower league division 2.Next you will need to arrange a kick-off match with this club and the club your pro is in,(note your pro must be a striker for this to work well)When it comes to tactics change the other clubs tactics to the worst set up going, then make all the players apart from one defender play in an attacking position. Now when you play them you will breeze through the one defender that stays back and 9 times out of 10 score very easily because the goalie is rubbish.Along with the 30 0r so accomplishments opened up by yourself in the arena this should provide another 40-50 accomplishments just by playing through a couple of games, play on world class for one of the games as it should net you a couple of the hard accomplishments.Remember try and do different things so score through the middle, get crosses in and score with your head, set up goals for other people, get some volleys in,mix it up.

The Other Careers

Remember those other career's i told you to save, well now is the time to use them, you want one of them to be an average team in a good league,so say Bolton or Portsmouth in the premier league and put your pro into one of these teams and set him up as a defender. From there just play through part of a season and within 2-3 games you would of opened up at least another 10-20 accomplishments just through acting out your role as a defender, making tackles, blocks, headers etc, remember to play in the snow and rain as this adds accomplishments too.Next you are going to need to go to your other team,i suggest a good team in an average league so maybe Rangers or Celtic in the SPL from there set up your pro as a midfielder and complete some of the midfielder accomplishments such as good passing, switching play from one side to the other and playing through balls that lead to goals,as well as scoring yourself.Remember you can change your height and weight throughout your career as well as your position just to add that little bit extra in the stats department where you need it.

Remember change your height and weight to give you an advantage in whatever position you are playing in and play in the defence and midfield as well as the striking position.Playing as the goalkeeper will also give you lots of accomplishments but you need to be in an average to poor team in a good league so that there are lots of shots on goal,Don't be Man utd against Chelsea otherwise you will see the ball maybe twice in the match, quite boring. You can open accomplishments and improve your pro in the arena so get in goal and have only a few players on your side vs the computer with a full eleven and put yourself in goal,it is the easiest way to open those all important accomplishments.Good luck and i will see you online.
