Fifa 13 Ultimate Team Team of the Week 6 Review
In this team of the week there are 3 main players that stand out for most people: Fabregas, Rooney and Messi. Fabregas is an 88 rated player, with a one rating boost. Rooney is 90 rated, also with a one rating boost. Messi is 95 rated, with a one rating boost. These are the obvious stand out players, especially Messi, who we can expect to, once again, reach the fabled rating of 99 again by the end of the game.
GK: Gillet 80
Gillet looks like a rather strong keeper for his rating of 80. He has 86 reflexes, which is really good for a keeper and with his 81 diving he will be able to reach into the corners. These, I feel, are the 2 most important attributes in the game and he has high ratings in both of these. His other ratings are his 79 positioning, 76 kicking, 76 handling and 60 speed. These are decent all round stats for a keeper that I doubt will go much higher than discard price. He plays for Torino in the Serie A and is from Belgium.
CB: Howdes 82
Howdes does look like he has good stats for a centre back. He has 73 pace which, for a centre back, is quite a lot. He also has 83 defending and 82 heading which are the core stats for a centre back. He has 70 passing, 56 dribbling and 39 shooting which gives him quite good stats for a defender. He will probable stick around the 15k mark I predict, once his price drops. He plays for FC Schalke 04 in the Bundesliga and is from Germany.
CB: Coloccini 82
Coloccini looks decent, not the best but I think he will be a lot more expensive than what he will actually be worth because he plays in the Barclay’s Premier League. He has 68 pace, which is alright for a centre back and 83 defending and 81 heading which are good core stats. His pace is lacking slightly though. He has 74 passing, 70 dribbling and 56 shooting. I think he will be worth around about 25k until he gets another in form. He might not but if he does this one will probably drop to around 15k. He plays for Newcastle United in the Barclay’s Premier League and is from Argentina.
CB: Ballesteros 77
Ballesteros looks like a pretty bad player. He only has a pace of 58, which is really quite bad, and only 83 defending and 75 heading. He is not particularly good in any areas of defence. He has 65 passing, 52 dribbling and 50 shooting. He will probably be worth discard value. He plays for Levante LD in the Liga BBVA and is from Spain.
CDM: Noble 74
Noble’s rating doesn’t actually increase, but this means that he is still Silver which increases his value greatly. However, because of his lack of good stats, he will not be worth that much I don’t think. He has 67 pace, 79 passing, 75 shooting, 70 defending, 71 dribbling and 62 heading. All round, these are decent stats for a Silver Player but is not stand out. Because he is English and plays in the Barclay’s Premier League, I think he will be worth around 15k. He plays for West Ham United in the Barclay’s PL and is from England.
CM: Strootman 78
Strootman is a half decent player but doesn’t really have any stand out stats. He has 82 passing, 64 pace, 77 dribbling, 74 shooting, 71 defending and 68 heading. These are decent all round stats but he will not be that fantastic a player. His price will probably still be around discard value. He plays for PSV in the Eredivisie and is from the Netherlands.
RM: Muller 85
Muller is the first really good player in the TOTW. His regular card is a CAM however this card is a RM. He has 84 pace, which is decent for a Right Midfielder, 83 shooting, 82 dribbling, 80 passing, 74 heading and 50 defending. This shows that he is definitely an attacking winger and would be played quite well in the RF position I think. His pace is not outstanding so I doubt that he will be able to sprint up the wing very quickly however, because of his lack of pace, he has got good ratings in other stats. I think that he will hang around the 50k mark, once his price has gone down, but if another in from of him comes out somewhere on the right of midfield, his price will probably drop to around 35k. He plays for Bayern Munchen in the Bundesliga and is from Germany.
CM: Fabregas 88
Fabregas is one of the “Big Three” of this TOTW. He is the third highest rated player in this TOTW and, with 92 passing, he will be one of the top players to control the play in the Centre of Midfield. He also has 85 Dribbling which is very high, meaning that he will be quite good at getting round defenders and, with 81 shooting, he will probably be able to score from in and around the box. 70 pace is pretty good for a central midfielder but with 69 defending and 71 heading he will not be fantastic at defending. I think that he will hang around at about 170k once his price drops. He plays for FC Barcelona in the Liga BBVA and he comes from Spain.
CF: Rooney 90
Rooney is more of a tank attacker, as in he is not very quick with only 80 pace but with 84 heading he might be decent in the air. He has 89 shooting so I will expect him to be able to score from basically anywhere on the park and with 85 dribbling he will probably be able to get through defences, along with his strength. He has 85 passing so he can also play good crossing and he can set up his striker quite well. I think that Rooney will stick at around 750k. He plays for Manchester United in the Barclay’s Premier League and he is from England.
CF: Messi 95
Messi is the star of this TOTW. With his huge rating this gives him the first of many in form cards. Messi will probably get at least 5 or 6 in forms this game and will almost certainly reach the 99 rating. Messi’s key stat is his dribbling, for which he is world famous. He still has 96 dribbling, which is the same as his previous card, and his pace is still 93 but his shooting has increased by 2, giving it a rating of 90 and he has a passing of 85. He has a heading rating of 73 which, for someone so small, is actually quite decent and his obvious low stat is his defending, which is only 44. I predict that Messi will be worth around 2 million until his next in form comes out, at which point his price will drop. He plays for FC Barcelona in the Liga BBVA and is from Argentina.
ST: Osvaldo 79
Osvaldo seems like much more of the strong attacker. He only has 72 pace and 72 shooting but with his 84 he is a force to be reckoned with in the air. He also has 82 dribbling, 68 passing and 45 defending. I think that he will be worth discard value and will not be that fantastic a player. He plays for Roma in the Serie A and is from Italy.
What would you rather get?
GK: Felipe 79
Felipe seems like a pretty good goal keeper with 85 reflexes and 82 diving. These are the main stats I think and he has high ratings in both. He has 80 positioning, 74 handling, 62 kicking and 60 speed. These stats are not fantastic but he should be an average keeper. He probably will be worth around discard value and plays for Flamengo in the Liga do Brasil and is from Brazil.
RB: Martin 73
Martin is a Premier League Silver and will be worth a fair bit but his low stats will limit his price. He has 69 pace, which is pretty poor, 75 defending which is decent and 70 heading which is not very good. He also has 74 passing, 64 dribbling and 54 shooting. I think that he will be worth around 20k. He plays for Norwich in the Barclay’s Premier League and is from Scotland.
RM: Beauvue 64
Beauvue didn’t actually go up a rating but the fact that he is a high rated Bronze will probably make him quite expensive. He has an astonishing 90 pace, making him one of the, if not the, fastest bronze player in the game. However, hiss pace is not the only outstanding stat because he has 71 shooting which, for a bronze with such high pace is very impressive. He has 65 dribbling, 61 passing, 67 heading and 47 defending meaning that he is quite an attacking orientated player. He will be worth at least 30k because of his good league and fantastic stats. He plays for LB Chateauroux in the Ligue 2 and is from France.
CM: Didot 77
Didot has 83 passing, which is his key stat really. He will be able to play decent passes but that is the only thing that is really good about him. He has 72 dribbling, 71 defending, 60 pace, 67 shooting and 63 heading. He will be worth discard value at most. He plays for Toulouse FC in the Ligue 1 and is from France.
LM: Evans 69
Evans has 78 pace, which is decent for a mid-rated silver, and 72 shooting and heading so his attacking stats are decent. With 67 ratings in Passing, Defence and Dribbling, he has decent overall stats but he is not outstanding. He will probably be discard value as well, maybe 7k or 8k. He plays for the Seattle Sounders in Major League Soccer and is from the United States.
ST: Le Tallec 73
Le Tallec doesn’t have the best of stats, with only 70 pace and 77 heading, giving him neither characteristics of each main type of striker, which is basically slow but tall or fast but small. He has 77 shooting, 74 passing, 72 dribbling and 47 defending. He has decent stats for a 73 rated player but no stand out stats. I think that he will go for around 10k. He plays for Valenciennes FC in the Ligue 1 and is from France.
ST: Craddock 64
Craddock got an incredible 8 point upgrade and I think that he will be pretty good in a bronze side. He has 73 pace and 72 shooting, and, for a bronze, those are respectable stats. He has 64 dribbling, 57 heading, 50 passing and 41 defending. These are, overall, decent stats. He will probably sell for around 10k-15k. He plays for Oxford United in the Npower League 2 and is from England.
Overall this team of the week has some outstanding players, a lot of run of the mill players and two very respectable bronzes who may be m0ore expensive than some of the other in forms. It has been a decent team of the week.
