Game of War Fire Age - Alliance City Guide

Updated on January 26, 2015

Game of War Alliance City

Alliance City Headquarters

The Alliance City Headquarters is the equivalent of your Stronghold. The level of the Headquarters will determine what level your buildings can be. It will also determine the level of alliance research you can complete.

You can see an overview of your Urban and Rural buildings from the Headquarters as well as a total of all resource types. Upgrading the Headquarters allows additional capacity on resource donations and unlocks higher levels for your buildings.

Upgrading your Headquarters will Require Deeds (which can be purchased in the gold store or in the alliance store for loyalty), Iron, Bricks and Cider. More on obtaining these new resources can be found in detail below.

Game of War Fire Age - Alliance City Rural Buildings

Your rural buildings contain the 4 unique types to refine the new Resources used for all Alliance City upgrades and research. Upon construction of your city, the four exterior buildings will be the first you will produce.

Each rural building will refine a specific resource using two of the existing resources. It is important to note, the rural buildings do NOT produce any resources, they only refine resources donated to the Alliance City by its members.

When Refining Resources, there is a slider bar that moves from Efficiency (left) to Speed (right). Production times are Extremely different between the two sides. Efficiency starts at 30 days to refine 200 units. Speed produces 2000 units in one hour but takes significantly more resources per unit.

BE Careful when initiating a refinement. At Launch, there is no way to stop a refinement once it has begun.

Alliance City - The Ironworks

The Ironworks produces the new resource Iron. Iron is created by refining Stone and Ore and is used in the Alliance City similar to how Ore is used in your Stronghold.

Refining iron requires approximately 2.5 Ore for each 1.0 stone.

Alliance City University

The Alliance City University is where you will research Alliance City upgrades. At launch only the Economics tree is available. The Available research in the tree are:

  • Donation Cap
  • Alliance City Construction Speed
  • Brickworks Production Speed
  • Lumber Mill Production Speed
  • Mint Production Speed
  • Cider Mill Production Speed
  • Ironworks Production Speed
  • Donation Tax Reduction
  • Alliance City Research Speed
  • Donation March Speed

There are two tiers of all the Econ research except Donation Tax Reduction and Donation March Speed. Donation Tax Reduction and March Speed each have only one tier.

Alliance City Hall of Quests

The Alliance Hall of quests provide additional quests that can be completed. The quests are shared by all members of the alliance and are available on a "first come first serve" basis. Alliance City quests refresh every 6 hours.

Alliance City Gifts - When alliance members complete alliance city quests, they will also earn gift points. When the gift point bar fills up, a gift will be sent to all members of the alliance.

Quests can be sped up by using Alliance Speed Ups. Unclaimed quests will expire if not claimed before the refresh, quests in process will carry forward.
