Grand Theft Auto V Walkthrough: Blitz Play Setup

Unlocked After: By the Book

Thought the FIB was done with our heroic trio? Think again. Dave, Steve, and all there other guys at the bureau have another job, and they're willing to blackmail as many people as necessary to get it done. Really makes you wonder who the good guys are... or if there are any good guys. Get that Blitz Play set up, double time!

- Drive out to the oil rigs of El Burro Heights. All three characters will show up, regardless of who comes first.

- Watch the cut scene.

- Hand off to Trevor. Leave the area in his truck. A conference call will ensue, and Michael will outline the plan. Four new missions will pop up on the map; you'll have to complete them all to set up the heist.

Tow Truck

- Head to Elysian Island.

- The tow truck is at the waypoint. Hop in and try to escape before the owner can pull you out.

- Drive back to the drop-off point.

Gold Medal Completion

Time - Complete within 3:00. Easy peasy. Don't crash, is all.

Not a Scratch - Deliver the tow truck with no damage. Steer carefully. A good job for Franklin, along with all of these driving challenges.

Truckin' - Reach top speed in the tow truck. There are a few straightaways where you can easily get up to top speed. Hills are a godsend, as always.

Trash Truck

- Head to the Mirror Park area.

- Tail the garbage truck when you spot it. Stop your car in front, kick the passengers out, and take off.

- Lose the cops. Not easy in a garbage truck. Cause a pileup at an intersection when the cops are behind you to get away, then simply avoid trouble until time runs out.

- Drive back to the drop-off point.

Gold Medal Completion

Time - Complete within 5:00. The cops are the real issue. Lose them fast.

Undented - The truck is slow and its turning is good. You shouldn't cause it too much damage, so long as your flight from the police doesn't take too long.

In The Dust - Reach top speed. This will almost certainly happen when you're fleeing from the police. If not, find a straightaway with some hills.

Three Masks

- Drive to Vespucci Beach.

- Visit the lit shop marked on the map.

- Buy three masks.

Gold Medal Completion

Face Time - Buy three masks in 20 seconds. Gotta be quick.

Cliché - Buy three white hockey masks. Easy to manage when done in conjunction with the previous requirement.

- Head to the Ammu-Nation in Pillbox Hill.

- Buy boiler suits for the guys, three of 'em.

Gold Medal Completion

Quick Shopper - Finish shopping in 30 seconds. The boiler suits are to the right of the entrance.

Getaway Vehicle

Though it's not an official mission, the final task is setting up a getaway car. Steal something with four seats, a decent top speed, and good cornering. An SUV or truck is ideal. Next, find an unobtrusive spot to stow it, such as an alleyway. You need to make sure it's out-of-the-way and far from law enforcement agencies, otherwise you can't use it. Pull out your phone to check if a spot is appropriate. If it is, the game will let you know. Drop off the car and call Michael to set the spot and complete the dropoff.
