Character: Franklin

Location: Del Perro Beach

Unlocked After: Friends Reunited

Lester has a job for Franklin, and it's none too pleasant. He needs somebody assassinated to manipulate the stock market. Killing people to mess with companies may not be a normal part of Franklin's resume, but, hey, he has to build his street cred somehow. Prepare to partake in one of the world's most questionable professions.

- Take over as Franklin. You'll soon get a phone call from Lester. He says he has a job.

- Head to Del Perro Beach. The waypoint is outside of a cafe.

- Watch the cut scene.

- Head towards the hotel on the mini-map. Buying either a Sniper Rifle or a Sticky Bomb is highly recommended for this mission; if you don't have one for Franklin, check out the Ammu-Nation a block over from the hotel.

- Enter the parking structure beside the hotel. The waypoint is on a handicapped spot on the ground level.

When you first arrive at the hotel the target will not be in sight, as he's still checking out. You need to wait until the time runs out before you can bring him down. There are a few different ways of doing this.

Shooting spree. If you're feeling unoriginal you can simply wait for him to emerge and then open fire. You'll have to fend off the guy's bodyguards if you choose this method of assassination.

Explosive. Buy a few Sticky Bombs and plant one of them underneath the guy's black car by sneaking up to the front of the hotel. Make sure you plant the explosive under the car; put it on the sides and one of the bodyguards will spot it before their charge gets in. You can also throw or launch a grenade once the guy's in range, though either will attract a lot of attention.

Sniper Rifle. The classiest, and ultimately best, method of disposing of the guy is through sniping. Move to one of the higher levels of the parking structure and train your sights on the front door. Aim for the guy in pink.

Regardless of your method of execution, you need to maintain your cover. Stay away from the front doors when scoping out the hotel, lest you alert the guards, and flee quickly once the assassination is done. If you're spotted you'll be chased until you can assume incognito status again. Don't bother using a getaway car to flee - once you've shot, turn, run to the opposite end of the parking structure, dive out onto the pavement, and run back to the street. Once you reach the opposite side (aim for the building with the green sign, near the intersection) the mission will end successfully.

Gold Medal Completion

Time - Finish the mission in 15:30. So long as you get it on the first try this won't be a problem.

Sniper Boy - Kill the target with a Sniper Rifle. A wise choice of weapon, so long as you don't shoot from the first level of the parking structure where you're most easily spotted.

Money Earned - Earn $9,000. The quality of the assassination will change how much you earn. Aim for the best results.
