Guitar Hero World Tour Song List
Guitar Hero World Tour
So with the release of Rock Band in last year, Activision new that they needed something to properly compete with the multiple instrument video game. So, this year, hopefully in October 2008, they are releasing Guitar Hero World Tour.
You will see a new guitar, a microphone, and a really cool drum set. The drum set alone is enough for me to trade in my Rock Band video game for the new Guitar Hero World Tour game. The drum set has 3 drum pads, one bass drum peddle, and 2 cymbals.
As for the songs on the game, you will see some of the below, already confirmed and rumored songs.
Song Customization
And, if you didn't know you are able to customize songs with the new World Tour game. The video game allows you to customize your own songs, publish them through the Xbox Live, PlayStation Network, or Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, and let other people play your songs.
After downloading and playing your song, the other person can rate your song. The more highly rated songs that you have, the more songs you can download and play.
Unfortunately, the PlayStation 2 version of the game will allow the customization feature, but you can not upload the songs.
And in regards to the song customization, you can only make songs for the guitar and drums, as the vocals do not register with the feature
Song Downloads
In addition to customizing your own songs and playing the regular play list, you can also download songs to play. The Xbox, Playstation 3, and Wii version of World Tour, allows you to download and store games on your console. With the Wii version, you will need to store the downloaded songs on your SD card.
Some of the downloadable songs are though to include Metallica's new album "Death Magnetic," 3 R.E.M. songs, and a few songs from Jimi Hendrix.
