Halo 4 Multiplayer Changes in Graphics, Play Style, and More!

Multiplayer has always been a large component of the Halo franchise. This time, however, Bungie is not working on Halo 4. 343 industries is in charge of the Halo franchise. Long time fans of Halo may be disappointed out of fear that Halo 4 multiplayer will not be as good as previous titles. Only time will tell how the game will compare to previous entries, but at any rate, 343 industries is working on providing the best experience possible for long time fans and gamers in general.

Lighting Effects

Previous Halo titles often had beautiful looking skies above the players head. This time around, the lightning has been improved to some degree. Golden rays being cast down from the sky will be more prominent in some of the Halo 4 maps. It will almost appear as the lighting from the skies above is reaching down and touching you.

Character animations

The character animations in Halo 4 have been improved upon to some degree. Death animations are much more realistic than before. Your character will fall more dramatically and reach out in desperation instead of simply falling down like a lifeless rag doll. The death animations are slightly longer, but not by much. Besides, the player can respawn sooner if they want to skip the animation.


Halo 4 Multiplayer: Different Play Styles

Perhaps one of the biggest differences in Halo 4 compared to previous entries is that players can choose to play with different styles. Players can pick different customized loadouts. For instance, if a player is more of a defensive player in Halo 4 multiplayer, they can use "Mobility Support," which allows the player to sprint infinitely. This will give that player a chance to escape from other enemy players if things get too hot. On the other hand, maybe you are more of a recon player that likes to scout ahead and flank enemies? You can use the Promethean Vision armor ability that let's you see other enemy players through walls. This is only temporary, however, you can use that time to think of a strategy of how to flank that enemy player or avoid them. The Promethean Vison in Halo 4 would serve a useful purpose when using grenades. You could verify whether or not an enemy player is behind a wall and use grenades to kill them or flush them out of cover to expose their hiding position.

Other Small Halo 4 Multiplayer changes

Another small change to Halo 4 is that the Warthog vehicle will be somewhat easier to control and to handle. The warthog was never extremely difficult to drive in other Halo games, however, it was not the smoothest riding vehicle. Weapons in Halo 4 will also be more reliable than they were compared to Halo Reach. Some players were dissatisfied with weapons accuracy in extended bursts. The weapons in Halo 4 will be more accurate at longer ranges when firing in multiple shots. It's not a significant difference, but it may make the game more faster paced in some instances.
