Hitman: Absolution
The release date for hitman absolution has been announced and it is official that hitman will be out for public on November 20, 2012. (Updated 12/05/2012)
Hitman is a stealth game, which has been developed by IO Interactive and published by Eidos Interative. Hitman game series can run on PC as well as other platforms like playstation 2, playstation 3, Xbox, Xbox 360 and Nintendo Gamecube. Eidos Interactive has published four games of the hitman series till now, namely, Hitman Codename 47, Hitman 2: Silent Assassin, Hitman: Contracts and Hitman: Blood Money.
The fifth version of the game is published by Square Enix and titled as Hitman: Absolution. The new Hitman game will run on the Glacier 2 game engine, an IO Interative’s proprietary.
Plot
The plot of the Hitman Absolution is not yet confirmed, but at least one part of the game will take place in Chicago. Hitman 5 will completely take place within US. At the end of previous game in the series (Hitman Blood Money), Agent 47 faked his death with the help of Diana to escape The Franchise. It is also confirmed that early in the game, Agent 47 will be assassinating his former Agency handler Diana Burnwood. The main antagonist for the fifth game of the series is identified as Blake Dexter voiced by Keith Carradine. Blake is a new character in the Hitman Series.

Development
The fifth game of the series was first announced in 2007, but it was officially announced in May 2009 by Eidos, confirming the development of the game. The trademark for the name Hitman: Absolution was filed on 20 April 2011 in Europe by Square Enix which was rumored to be the title of the next release but it was confirmed on May 6 2011 with a release of a teaser trailer. The trailer showed agents 47’s signature Silverballer pistol and a rattle snake coiled around it. A full gameplay trailer “Run for Your Life” was released on 9th October 2011. The game is to be released in 2012, however the actual date is yet to be announced.
