KINECT for XBOX 360 ~ Best Games to Play

Updated on November 11, 2012

Xbox Best Gift Game

Today, there are so many game players looking to purchase an Xbox 360. This is a very hot item. There are several versions of the Xbox 360 games in stores available and many essentials you will want to pick up at your local store.

Microsoft offers two standard versions of the Xbox 360, both with newly re-designed smaller cases.

Some people are looking for older, larger models, because they are interested in purchasing them at a reduced price.

The discounted Xbox does not run as efficiently and lack new components like WiFi that many are interested in purchasing.

In my opinion, the major difference between the two options is the amount of hard drive space inside the Xbox. There is a more expensive 250 GB model which exists at a much higher price.

Or you can save a few dollars and purchase a 4 GB version, which costs less.

If you plan to download games or to add-on to your games, there are lots of things to do with the new Xbox 360, if you're a big game player

New Xbox Console

The standard consoles that Microsoft offers is a bundle with Kinect. The motion-sensing camera that enables controller free games.

The camera can be bought alone, for and affordable price, or as part of a console bundle.

There are special versions of the Xbox 360, offered with the videogame releases.

For example, there are many new games for Xbox 360. Many of the games are special edition games that comes with a game and a unique paint job on the Xbox 360 case.

If Kinect interests you and you don't have an Xbox 360, then the bundle is the best investment.

If the game is purchased separately, the Xbox 360 console and Kinect sensor is more expensive than if you purchase the two of them in one box.

If you're not interested in Kinect, you should purchase the 250 GB model - the extra space will come in handy in the future.

Optional Items

The Xbox 360 you recently purchased has everything you need to connect to your television.

You can immediately start playing games. There are a few additional items you might wish to consider adding to your collection.

For some, these additional items will be "optional." For others these items may be a "necessity."

(1) HDMI Cable: An HDMI port on your TV, attaches the cable that allows for the easiest set-up and the best possible visual and audio feature for your new Xbox 360.

(2) Wireless Network Adapter: The newer model of the Xbox 360, is not necessary. It comes with a built-in WiFi support.

(3) USB Flash Drive: A format can be setup on any flash drive up, to 20 GB in size to work with an Xbox 360. It works just like a standard Xbox 360 hard drive, and it is more portable and cost less.

You can use a flash drive on an Xbox 360 to listen to music, play videos or to view pictures.

A USB flash drive is a very valuable tool.

Top Xbox 360 Games

Xbox 360 has a great library of games, which means there's something to satisfy anyone who has a healthy taste for games.

Shooters are Xbox 360's best game yet. If you like shooting stuff, you are going to have a great time with this game.

There is another first-person shooter series that has become synonymous with Xbox and that is Halo. You really can't go wrong with Halo Reach.

If you select a more realistic shooter you can't go wrong by investing in the game titled Call of Duty: Black OPS.

The Orange Box

Bargain shoppers looking for these powerful games should be on the lookout for The Orange Box, which comes with five great games for the price of one game.

As mentioned above, The Orange Box is five separate games: Half-Life 2, Half-Life 2, Episode One, Half-Life 2: Episode Two, the puzzle game Portal, and the colorful multiplayer action game Team Fortress 2.

BioShock

If you're looking for other exciting games. You should try Halo and BioShock, which features sci-fi stories.

One of the great things about the Xbox 360 is that you can enjoy games without ever having to go to the store.

Xbox Live Arcade titles are cheaper than retail games and, best of all, can be purchased from the comfort of your home.

Xbox 360 Benefits

One of the benefits of owning and Xbox 360, is that the new Xbox console can be configured in a way that prevents children from playing games that the parents would not want them to play.

The games can be closely monitored.

If you do not have children and own a new Xbox 360 with the parental controls activated, you can easily turn them off.

An operating instruction booklet is included when you purchase the Xbox 360.
