Logic Brain Teasers

Updated on January 6, 2013

Brain Teasers

I can’t remember when I was not in love with Brain Teasers. I think I was brought up on them. Having a Father obsessed with Mathematics and Logic created an environment in which I was always involved and intrigued by Brain Teasers. I would have written them out for you but then I checked Khan Academy and they had the videos all prepared for you so I will just use their videos.

Liar Truth Brain Teasers

Toggle Brain Teaser

I disagree with the conclusion of the Toggler Brain Teaser

Although I disagree with the assertion here because you are unable to account with for possibility a toggler will answer “No” and be untruthful. The conclusion is incorrect but it is an interesting problem because it allows us to complete this problem.

I had this one as a child.

My Dad gave me this one before I was in grade school but there were only five people in line and not ten. I figured it out but it did take me some time as a child

Alien Abduction Brain Teaser

In Conclusion

I love brain teasers. They are so much fun and I have been doing them my entire life. Is it a waste of time? I don’t believe there has been any scientific data either way that brain teasers are good for your mind but I have done well in Mathematics in my life and I truly find them entertaining. Like the New York Times, I always enjoy completing them.

I was talking about the second question if the toggler said No on the first.

P.S. The Khan Academy link is broken.

Instead of ''Who is not the truth teller?'', I prefer the less ambiguous ''Name a toggler,'' as this is more meaningful for more than two people.

      Hi Natura Solutions,

The article is mine but the video is from the Khanacademy which offers free lessons to everyone.

I have grown up on puzzles so I enjoy brain teasers as well. Thank you for reading, comenting and for providing feedback.
