The main feature of maniac is the fact that the energy will regenerate every 1 to 3 minutes versus every 5. If you choose the ''Button Man'' feature which is found in ''My mafia'' under the ''Promote'' button, you may have higher chances to win almost every fight you initiate. Fearless

The main feature of fearless is the fact that your health will regenerate at a much faster rate than the others.. Also you are eligible to become a Top Mafia Wheel Man that will make you perform jobs with a small chance of not losing any energy.

Mogul is the best money maker. The cash flow of this character will come quicker than in the other characters. Expect the cash to arrive every 54 minutes rather than every hour.

Name Your Character

Now that you have chosen the nature of your character, get creative and choose a cool name. A favorite is to put the mafia word ''Don'' followed by your last name. However, you are free to name your character what you want.

Upon starting the game you will see how much money you have, your general state of health, your energy level and the amount of stamina. Always keep an eye on these and replenish as necessary.

Being Short on Money

Luckily, you cannot go in debt in this game. Therefore, if you go bankrupt your main goal should be to start seeing some green in your pockets. Try to do as many jobs as you can and then as you get your hands on properties try to earn some residual income. Mafia Mike’s franchise is a great source of residual income. Remember to always keep some money aside to cover some unexpected (or better expected) hospital bills.

The Power of Family

Generally, the larger the family the stronger you will be in fights. Because you will have plenty of weapons available, you will be more advantaged than smaller clans. Inviting friends to join you in your mafia wars is a great way to successfully ''get your points across'' when dealing with the enemy. If you do not know enough friends, no need to worry try to join Mafia Wars Recruitment Center (MWRC). Another great place to be is the various Mafia Wars fan clubs that are available on Facebook. Guaranteed you will find immediate buddies especially during peak times such as week-ends. However, do not over do it or Facebook will see you as a spammer!

Gaining Energy

Use Energy packs wisely, do not waste them! Energy packs are meant to increase your level of energy by 25%. Be thoughtful and send them out to your family as well when given the opportunity. You want your mob to be strong!

Make Frequent Deposits

Don't sleep with money under your mattress! Mafia Wars is the last place you want to feel safe. Every time you accumulate a large chunk of money play it safe and deposit it into your bank account. Even though the 10% fee may sound outrageous, it is best to abide to the better safe than sorry protocol.

Remember to Upgrade

You want to make the most of your opportunities to upgrade in order to be strong. Every time a level is passed you will be given points that should be used wisely. Points can be used to upgrade several features of your character such as: Attack Strength, Defense Strength, Maximum Energy, Maximum Health and Stamina.

Don't be a Sissy

Don't be shy to fight. Only by fighting will you able to win money and gain experience. And the more money the more you will be able to invest in real estate and earn in residual income.
