Monster High 13 Wishes Dolls - Twyla, Gigi and Others

Updated on May 13, 2013

Monster High 13 Wishes Dolls

I love it when a new Monster High movie comes out and I love it even more when there's a release of a doll line that matches the movie.

Monster High 13 Wishes is the 3rd movie and I can't wait to see it. Although I should "Be Scare-ful" of what I wish for.

Some of the dolls in this line are already released even if the release date was first thought to be somewhere in the summer. I can't wait to get my hands on these, especially the two new characters (pop back for a review or two).

Monster High 13 Wishes Twyla Doll

Who wasn't afraid of Boogie man? I know I was. I was never able to look under my bed and I was always convinced there is someone hiding in my closet. If someone would tell me that the daughter of the Boogie man, Twyla, would look so awesome I probably wouldn't fear it so much.

Twyla has beautiful hair, I like the blue and green combination. I also like the detail work on her legs. She's a small doll, about the same height as Howleen.

She comes with a pet rag doll rabbit which I do find a little bit scary but it is slowly growing on me.

As for her outfit, the shoes are really great, they remind me of something the kings wore back in the middle ages. The color pallet of her clothes matches her hair and skin tone.

Gigi Grant

Genie from Aladdin was my number one genie for a long time but things might change soon as Monster High family is getting their own Genie - Gigi.

I love her hair and I really like how they made her fingers. It can't get more 1001 Arabian Nights than this. The shoes this ghoul has are to die for!

Which new ghoul do you like more?

13 Wishes Lagoona Blue Doll

When I first saw images of this doll I actually didn't recognize Lagoona. It's just something about her hair as it looks very yellow and I didn't notice the blue strips. That said I still think the doll is pretty much awesome.

She comes with a fish in a bowl which is a cute element.

Howleen Wolf

While I do like this doll and I do like Howleen in general I have to say I was expecting something different for the 13th Wishes. There's nothing special or mystical to Howleen. I am sure this look fits the one from the movie but still I was hoping for something different.

Nonetheless this one is a cute one. I like her make up, the lips are really shiny, they look like she would have lip gloss on them. The neon color on her dress are really strong too.

Getting Morrocan With Howleen, Frankie & Draculaura

The 13th Wishes continue with Clawdeen, Frankie and Draculaura, all three dressed up Morrocan Style.
