Why Kids Go Gaga over Smiggle

Updated on June 26, 2019

During a recent family trip to Singapore, we had to include a Smiggle shop in our itinerary. From our hotel, we walked a few blocks towards Bugis Junction and found this exciting little store. Squeals of delight from all four kids ensued.

Vibrant tones and adorable designs are some of the reasons why we love Smiggle. If you're looking for school supplies and gift items for kids of every age, this is the shop to be.

Inside you'll find back packs, lunch boxes, and purses of every size. The motifs range from unicorns, mermaids, teddy bears, aliens, animals, sports, and more. You may also purchase water bottles with matching themes to complete your kids' back to school gear.

We loved the pencil cases and pouches the most, and they were on sale from as much as 30 to 50% off. Our older daughters got colorful gel pens, highlighters, and pencils. We snagged a few accessories like slap bands and key chains, too.

For more than 15 years, Smiggle has become somewhat a luxury school supply brand for boys and girls. From its humble beginnings in Melbourne, to hundreds of retails branches across the globe, the company continues to give everyone a smile and a giggle.

Just Group, the umbrella company that owns Smiggle, definitely has many reasons to smile and giggle, too. They currently have hundreds of thousands of social media followers from different nations including Australia, New Zealand, US, and the UK. In the Asian region, Smiggle is a huge hit in Singapore, Malaysia, and Hong Kong.

Online sales are also giving the adorable stationery brand an added boost, making the quirky designs readily available to just about anybody on the planet.

Our Recommendations:

We appreciate Smiggle because of its wide range of products. Even teenagers can find something in store that they can use in school. There are themes that fit the tastes of boys and girls. If you're looking for a gift for a loved one, you'll have unlimited choices here. However, the prices can vary from store to store, so it's best to check out sales and promos from their website.

We definitely want to come back to Smiggle soon! Just need to save up a few more bucks and prepare ourselves. Overall, we were glad that our kids brought home goodies that were both functional and real cute! It was a shopping spree well spent.
