Calling All Claw Masters!

Save Your Quarters: play virtual claw machine games online and win virtual prizes.

A couple of my favorite claw machine games I've found on the web are:

  • THE CLAW - virtual prize is the "chosen one"
  • GET POOKEY - virtual prize is Garfield's bear named Pookey

THE CLAW allows you to choose your game level (easy, medium or hard).

GET POOKEY starts at an easy level and the levels get harder as you continue to play.

Virtual Prize: The Chosen One

Game #1 - THE CLAW

How To Play:

You choose which virtual prize you want to grab, click on it and the giant claw will move toward the prize to grab it.

To win, you have to grab the "chosen one".

This game has great music and adorable "lego style" characters from Disney Pixar's Toy Story movies, like Buzz and Woody.

Try it at UPDATE 2/20/2014: This game is not currently available at its original website but you can find it at from

Tips For Playing:

This game from features adorable Lego characters like Buzz, Woody and the Little Green Men aliens from the Toy Story movie.

The object of the game is to find and grab the "chosen one".

Get extra power-ups by grabbing Woody, Buzz and others.

The background music is great and the "squeeky aliens" sound effects are fun.

You can choose your own game level so this game is good for everyone.

If you run out of time before you find the chosen one, it will show you where he was hiding.

TIP: if you're having a hard time finding the chosen one, grab Buzz Lightyear to get the most helpful tip to find him.

Virtual Prize: Pookey the Bear

Game #2 - GET POOKEY

How To Play:

You use the arrow keys to move the crane.

Press the space bar to drop the crane and try to grab a prize.

You must try to grab Garfield's plush teddy bear named "Pookey".

This game has characters from the Garfield movies, like Garfield the Cat and Odie the Dog.

I found this game at at

Tips For Playing:

This game features Garfield the Cat and his buddy, Odie the Dog.

The object of the game is to rescue Pookey, Garfield's toy bear, who is trapped inside the Claw Machine.

If you grab the wrong prize, it will "poof" and Garfield might get cranky!

Turn up the volume because sound & video are great in this game, especially Garfield cracking jokes at you while you are trying to play!

The game level gets harder as you play so it's a great game for both beginners and pros.

The other virtual prizes are adorable plush animals like an elephant, a yellow duck, a dog, a gorilla and a cat.

TIP: look at the red knob that moves as you move the claw, right next to it you can see exactly how far the crane is moving by watching the 2 red lines move as you move the claw.

I enjoy claw machines in real life and I've found a lot of virtual claw machine games on the web and these are two of the best. Both of these games are great because they have cute prizes, great graphics and cool music. "The Claw" game has squeeky little aliens and "Get Pookey" has Garfield the cat cracking jokes at you while you try to play.

Save Your Quarters!

While its true that you can't actually keep the prizes you win because they're virtual, you do get to play with "virtual quarters" instead of real ones so these free games are fun and affordable.

Lucky Dip is an easy game. Click the "play" button to make the claw drop down and grab a prize. Click on the "drop" button to drop the prize into the chute. The virtual prizes are fun, but a little weird, like a car and a spider. You can find it at if you want to give it a try.
