Playing ESO: Quick Review
For those that don't know, Elder Scrolls Online (ESO) is a MMORPG game playable either via PC or consoles. It reminds anyone ever familiar with the game Diablo to be in the comforts of similar settings. Bear in mind that this is a MMO, with time permitted one can spend loads of time in the game.
What got me captivated in the first place was the cinematic trailer that i watched when they were promoting the game. The trailer didn't failed to impress as the fight scenes seems to relive my memory of the movie, Lord of the Rings. I could easily identify from the trailer the classes that will be available in the game; a barbarian-like class, a sorcerer-like class and a sneaky-stealthy-like class. All of those were enough to convince me this is a game i won't regret playing.
The game initially got started with four different classes; a Sorcerer, a Dragonknight, a Templar and a Nightblade. Later on they added a Warden class with the Morrowind expansion. Coming soon there will be a Necromancer class with the release of Elsweyr (June, 2019). So, there are plenty of choices depending on what you want to be!
Once started, just like any other RPG, one would need to level up the character. The level progression comes in two stages; level 0-50 after which one gains Champion Points (CP) from 0-xxxx. At the time of writing, the highest CP available to use is 810CP.
There are plethora of quests available in the game. There are a lot catered for to do whatever anyone wants to do in the game.
If you have the bloodlust in you, Cyrodiil will be the place to go for some PVP. Not forgetting there is also "Battleground" for some fast paced fighting. Once you created your character you will be greeted by the Prophet for the main quest and you will be called Vestige.
Depending on what class and race, you will need to level up your skill lines. You have the ability to craft items such as armor, weapon, food, poisons,...etc. The better you get at crafting the more options you have available to you to improving and upgrading your weapons, armors,...etc.
The game offered a lot to players to do what they want in the game. You can buy houses, craft furnitures to decorate in it. You can even send gifts to other players and if you like get married to another player in the game. It is like coming into another world in a place called Tamriel.
