Pokemon Plushies - Pokemon Stuffed Toys To Buy

Updated on March 14, 2011

What are Pokemon plush toys?

Pokemon plushies (as they are generally called) are stuffed Pokemon that have a very soft exterior.  They are great Pokemon toys to buy because they are good for all ages (tend to sell for young children) and are affordable and long-lasting.

Some consider Pokemon stuffed toys as Pokemon dolls, due to their simple nature and design; although they can be used as pillows, as well as a decorative piece.

The most popular Pokemon plushies are the Pikachu plush doll and the mew plus stuffed animal.

Buying Pokemon plush toys is a great idea for Christmas presents and birthday gifts.

Pikachu Plush Pokemon

This 25-inch Plush Pokemon doll is one of the best stuffed Pokemon to buy.

You may ask: Why?

First because it's of Pikachu, arguable one of the most beloved fictional, and cutest, characters of all time.  Secondly because it's very big, and very soft, perfect to use as pillow or as a great decoration piece.  And thirdly because it's very affordable and will make a great Christmas present.

It weighs about five pounds and sometimes will come with free Pokemon cards.

Pokemon Mew Plush

Pokemon Mew Plush is one of the best Pokemon toys to buy and, as far as Pokemon stuffed toys go, this is one of the best quality.

The Pokemon Mew plush is only 5.5 inches, far from the 25 inch Pikachu plush doll, but that doesn't take away from it's cuteness or memorabilia quality.  Manufactured in China, it comes with highly detailed features, such as big blues, a detailed mouth, and the trademark Mew tail.

The Pokemon Mew Plush is from the official Pokemon center strap line, making it a great gift for any occasion.

Pokemon Diamond and Pearl Plushies

One of the biggest lines of Pokemon plushies are the Diamond and Pearl Pokemon stuffed toys.

They have the following features:

  • All 7inches.
  • Not suitable for children under 3 years of age.
  • Made from quality cotton.
  • Officially licensed
  • Manufactured in China
  • Extremely detailed.
  • Affordable.

Official Pokemon Center Pokemon Plush Dolls

This line of Pokemon dolls is officially licensed by Nintendo, making them some of the best stuffed Pokemon to buy.

In my opinion the Pokemon Center plushies are the most detailed of the bunch. They feature detailed and vibrant colors that are usually coupled with details eyes with extra emphasis on the nose, ears and other facial features.

They are very soft plush dolls - as well as very small. The average Nintendo Plush doll reaches only four inches. They are also the lightest out of all Pokemon dolls.
