Recycle DIY Zombie House for boys
Not your average gingerbread house
Kids love this and making on their own could not be anymore fun. Putting it together is fun and good way to pass the time with your kids.
Gather some empty boxes and start some fun. Boys love this because its not a barbie doll house and their small action figures look mighty next to this house, ready for the perils they can think of.
So start by cutting thin strips of card board about as wide as your finger:
You Will Need
To cut roofs for the house. Simple. Flat roof!

Shingles for the roofs.
You Will Need
Boxes for the shell of your DIY home.
Begin!
Glue together the cardboard boxes into a formed house however you please.
Start gluing the "strapping" onto the house. Use different thicknesses to make the house look frayed and old.
Glue your roofs.
Start shingling.
Add a chimney if you want.
Add a deck of you want.
Or a walkway and steps.
Close up the windows if you prefer.
Add a door.
With cardboard the possibilities are endless.
You can even make trees and bushes for the guys to hide behind. Use your imagination with your child for this.
Start painting.
Try not to have too much fun and remember it doesn't need to be perfect just fun to play with.
