Review of Mini Drone Cheerson CX-10 Quadcopter Mini 29mm 4CH 2.4GHz 6-Axis Gyro LED RC
Great Micro Drone for Newcomers and Collectors Alike
This is the coolest toy helicopter I've ever seen. It only about the size of an Oreo cookie but it can really go. This is my very first miniature drone and I was a little hesitant that this hobby would be for me, but I've since been hooked. I purchased the Cheerson CX-10 Mini 29mm 4CH 2.4GHz 6-Axis Gyro LED RC Quadcopter Bright Orange along with the Eagle Pro Helipad (currently unavailable) but I do recommend you get a little landing pad there are several available on Amazon. The two products really compliment each other and my entire family had a blast trying to land the quadcopter on the helipad. The Helipad designer is an experienced micro drone enthusiast and he recommends the Cheerson CX10 to all hobbyist looking to give micro drones a try, which is how I came to try this great little drone.
Get the Classic Mini Quadcopter in a range of Colors
The copter comes with 4 replacement blades a usb charger and the remote. Everything was super easy to use and I really can't say enough about how cool this thing is for the money, I could see myself being equally as thrilled with this purchase had it been double the price. I highly recommend this if your just looking for a fun toy for a teenager or an adult. Its a little too delicate and complicated for young kids, but they will probably still enjoy watching it buzz around the house. With just a little practice you can do flips and a few other maneuvers, we can't put it down at my house.
5 Stars for Good Cheap Fun
It really is hard to find a value like this today. The price of this quad copter ranges from $13 -$20 depending on color choice, availability, etc. There are a number of accessories and replacement parts that you can find at very reasonable prices as well. As long as the drone is used as a hobby and not a child's toy you should get a ton of use out of it. I would honestly say this is the best $15 I ever spent.
Maintenance Tips
My family and I have personally had a blast playing with our mini drones and this one is going strong 8 months after purchase. I have only had to replace a few blades which you can purchase more of on Amazon. I would also recommend purchasing a protective cage to prevent accidents and prolong the life of your drone. Its very easy to remove and replace the blades just be careful not to bend the meta receptor on your copter. Use of a cage and storing your drone in a safe place are the main things you can do to maintain them. If you notice your flight has become more difficult calibrate your drone as per the manufacturers directions included in your box. Happy Flying!
