It is a well known fact that a hobby can promote a child in various ways, for the reason that it is an expression of individual achievement that leads to self-discovery and only hobby can help build confidence, find a child hidden potential or talent that can make the life easier in the future. Because only discovering all these at the early stage can make the life richer and more interesting.

As we know, children have to be encouraged all the time to follow some hobbies and this is not the easiest thing. I have read a lot of articles on this topic that nowadays children have to be encouraged a lot to follow a hobby because it is very difficult for them to leave interesting computer games or TV program.

It is not the same with our case. I am going to speak about a very creative boy and one of his hobbies when he was 11 years old (now he is 13).

Emil, it’s his name, and he is a kind of boy who knows how to organize properly his time. Going to school every day he comes home and has some rest for a while. The rest of the day is divided by him in such a way that he manages to go to the swimming pool, play baseball with his friends, play computer and Sony PSP games, do the homework, help parents around the house and there still remains time for his hobbies. They are some more hobbies he enjoys but I would love to mention in this article, the passion of making adorable SpongeBob Squarepants Characters Clay Models when he was 11. It is something that he decided to do by himself and this really amaze me.

One day he asked his mother to buy him modeling clay and the hard work began.All the collection of models was created in some days, then he decided to create a nice background. Because he is not very good at painting he printed some coloring pictures from the Internet and began to color them. So, the boy was enjoying the hobby and the parents were happy they do not have to encourage him to do something else than watching TV and playing PSP games.

I realize the fact that not all children nowadays knows how to manage their time and their parents find it difficult to make them interested in something else that they truly enjoy. But I consider that only a parent can help better to develop the hidden potential of child. Because being a good parent you will always know what your child likes and dislikes.

Just try to spend more time with your child and I am sure you both will discover new amazing things together that will help to develop a hobby interest in your child. Working on hobbies, children gain knowledge of setting goals, manage time, take decisions, and sort out different kind of problems. They even can help make a career when child grow up.
