How to Beat Call of Duty Black Ops: Zombies (Kino Der Toten)

Updated on December 11, 2017

How to Survive Zombies until Level 25!

In the very beginning for the first few waves, what you want to do is use your pistol to just rack up a few points, probably two or three shots and then use your knife to kill them. That will get you probably 2 or 3 shots and then use your knife to kill others. You'll get the maximum amount of points from each zombie. After the first round, you are going to want to get the M14 off the wall but not use it until round 4. Until then, use your pistol and knife. Hold the M14 to make sure you don't get overwhelmed and die even if you are going to use the knife. Try to last until round 6 or 7 in the main room for cover because there is only a few entrances. Start looking for the power button; you're going to want to make it all the way over on the stage, because once you turn the power on, the light board shows up and it will show you exactly where the Random Box is, so you don't have to do a lot of random searching after turning it on. Turning on the power also does things like allowing you to activate traps, allowing you to turn on the turret and most importantly, it allows you to activate the teleporter, which is a very, very huge help. It actually is one of the things that helps you survive into the later levels.

The teleporter is also a requirement that basically works you up to the projector room right above the actual theater. The cool thing about it is if you actually sit in the teleporter until you are surrounded by zombies and then activate it, it will kill all of the zombies standing right around you. Part of playing zombies is actually getting lucky and really getting the good items from the Random Box. The key is racking up so many points, so you hopefully know one of the times you use it you will get the Ray Gun, Thunder Gun or explosives. Knocking off their legs to get away on some of the earlier levels like 10, 11 and level 12, launchers like the grenade launcher, the M79 will kill the zombies. On later levels, using the launchers will blow their legs off. That helps a lot because they are so slow at that point, you can keep a couple of them alive and use the Random Box or let the teleporter recharge. One thing that you are going to want to remember is that the teleporter actually needs to be re-linked every single round, so the best solution is to take one of the slower zombies like a crawler or if you blow half and he's just kind of crawling around, leave him. That way especially if you get a Teddy Bear, which makes a Random Box change locations, you have as much time as you need to go find it. You can also take the time to re-link the teleporter and get that ready for the next round and basically just prepare yourself for the onslaught.

And it's pretty much the same strategy throughout the game, but at the same time you should know the teleporter is definitely a new thing and you have to make sure that you save up once you get a good gun for the Pack-a-Punch Hook, which is up in the projector room because that is a definite 100 percent requirement for the later levels as even the Ray Gun is taking up the five shot skill. Especially around level 20, at this point even with the upgraded Ray Gun, it is taking three or four shots every time and at least two headshots. At the end of each round, especially around level 10 and up, you're going to want to leave those those last zombies up so that you can run around and find the Random Box, use the teleporter when you get surrounded and have their route down. Just make sure that you are picking up all the perks right off, even before you use the Random Box for the first time, pick up the Juggernaut because that is by far, the most important perk. You will get taken down in about two hits without it and in about six hits when you have it. Another second perk you need to get is the Speed Perk which helps you sprint faster and it will help to reload so when you're getting surrounded by zombies and you have to reload a clip, it is not taking you so long to reload. It takes three or four seconds with the Speed Perk and that is a big thing especially with the launchers like the M79, making reload time really fast and it helps you get out of those surrounded situations very quickly.

The Random Box you kinda have to get lucky with, but the one constant really in this mode is the Power-Ups. You really need to make sure that you have Juggernaut especially on the later zombie dog rounds where you will get hit multiple times, so definitely good to have Juggernaut on the zombie dog rounds. One of the things you don't really want to do is to back yourself into a corner against the zombie dogs. It is actually really easy to dodge them, so it is good you know where they are coming from and they don't take that long to kill. Even in the later rounds, the zombie dogs are still pretty easy, it is simply the earlier rounds that are harder because you don't have the good weapons that you're going to have in the later levels. So good luck and keep your head on a swivel against those zombies...
