Tips on how to win Hardcore Domination on Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 3 ( MW3 )

Updated on May 30, 2012

Intro

In this hub you will learn the tips on how to win at hardcore headquarters, and how to set the enemy in a spawn trap to easily win games. This is pretty straight forward but i will also run through the weapons that work best as well.

Also.. I am on the Xbox Live network, for those of you who continue to ask, my gamer tag is Agent Johnr. I tend to not add new members from here unless I play with you first, and I only play hardcore domination, or Infected, but either way if you see me on, feel free to send a shout out.

The tips

So I think its easy to say that hardcore domination could easily be the hardest game type in the Hardcore series. It is very difficult if you do not have the right team, right weapons, or even the right initial spawn, so i will teach you a few tricks that will help you win.

First off your main weapon. You should start off initially with an assault rifle, or small machine gun when you start off. This will give you a good defending the flag / rushing class. This will help you run over enemies while trying to get each of the three flags.

Next off i suggest some sort of explosive. I know that using a "noob tube" is childish, but to be honest, they are used so often, that you will not be criticized for using one. Also it can be crucial for protecting your team in a time of need, especially the XM25 semi automatic grenade launcher. Normally i would say do not be the first to use one, but at this point, seeing as how often they are used, there is no shame and helping your team by using one.

As far as your lethal grenade class. People on your team should be using the trophy system. When you are capturing a domination point nothing is more crucial than the trophy system. It will allow two explosives to get deflected without hurting you, and will help you capture your point. So these are a key thing to your success.

So overall as far as weapons go.. You should have an assault rifle, or sub machine gun. A grenade launcher. A trophy system or grenades. Beyond that you can play with everything else to see what works, as something things like perks, solely go off preference. And in domination there is no set of specific perks that are perfect for it.

The strategy

So here is the strategy. This will surely help you win all games.. If you follow this, you will win, and have a positive kill to death ratio. First off. Capture the flag close to you, whether that be A, or C. After capturing that. Everyone should focus on B. Remember. you only need 2 flags to win, if they only have 1. So you main focus NEEDS to be B.

Now that you have B, hopefully you still have C/A, and now you can camp. As long as you hold 2, and do not push too far, you will be able to hold the lead, and get lots of kills while spawn camping the other team. This strategy is very basic and simple, but can be easily ruined, if a teammate goes after the third flag, rushes into the spawn, or gets to close to the spawn. Your main goal should be set up a perimeter and camp, then you will win, get your kill streaks, and have fun demolishing a team.

The only exception. The map DOME is the only exception. ON this map you should strive for A and C. Once you have these the other team will continue to spawn inside B and cannot get out. You will then easily win, and get A LOT of kills.

Summary

Overall you should strive to get B. After this you should get either C/A, and hold that for the whole game. You will easily win, and get a lot of kills. Remember to use small machine guns or assault rifles. This will allow someone less experienced to get more kills and have more fun.
