VTech Learning Toys and Games - A Parents Best Friend!

All of us parents and grandparents want to buy the best learning toys and games for our kids - but sometimes it's hard to know what thebest learning toys for our kids really are. I found toys and games by VTech to be some of the best - educational, fun and safe toys - for both my sons when they were growing up. Now I find myself buying buy them for my grandchildren too. When purchasing any new toys now I look for VTech toys first because I know I am getting something of value. A VTech learning toy or game will not only entertain my grandson - but will also teach him something valuable at the same time

Besides being a toy manufacturer, VTech is also one of the leading communications companies in the world. Some of their past milestones over the years include:

1978: VTech released its very first product; a portable game that used only a single chip processor. This first game has evolved into VTech's electronic learning games of today, which are still at the top of every parents list for their children.

1991: VTech stepped into the telecommunications market by releasing the very first fully digital cordless phone in the United States. VTech has now become one of the top suppliers of cordless phones throughout the world.

Zach's Newest VTech Toy - The Infant Learning Rhyme and Discover Book

The very first VTech toys I ever purchased were back in the 90's for my then teenage sons. I had plunked down a hefty $300 for their first VTech laptops. Since then VTech has broadened their learning toys to include toys for babies and toddlers from $5 and up. My latest VTech purchase was the Vtech Infant Learning Rhyme and Discover Book for my grandson Zach. It was reasonably priced and was an immediate hit with him! As soon as I put it in his crib he got excited and did not lose interest until after a good hour had passed (this is how I know if a toy is a hit with him or not - how long he plays with it) The little book has various fun functions for him to play with plus blinking lights, music, lots of colors and movement. As he flips the pages the book "reads and sings" to him and also has little pull toys within the pages. An instant hit! (Zach is 2)

One of VTech's Best Toys

In 2004 Vtech released the V.Smile TV Learning System which has won multiple awards and is claimed to be the best electronic learning product they have ever made. The V.Smile TV Learning System is still being used by children all over the world. Product features of the latest V. Smile TV Learning System include: a 9V Adapter. Fun games are available with titles like : Handy Manny, Lion King, WALL.E and Wow Wow Wubbzy .The console connects directly to your home TV - so there is no additional equipment required. Kids use joysticks along with a writing pad and stylus for their writing activities and a second joystick can be connected for two-player game play. A microphone is also included for sing-a-long fun in bundled packages..

The V.Reader Animated E-Book System

Another cool new toy by VTech that is sure to be at the top of parents must have lists is the V.Reader Animated E-Book System. The E-Book system features:

  • A 4.3" color touch screen
  • Fully animated stories with story narration, character voices and vivid graphics - along with exciting music and sounds
  • 3 ways to play: Kids can watch a story, read games and use the story dictionary
  • A USB port and SD memory card slot for expansion
  • A durable, kid-tough design

Today, with the wide choice of VTech learning toys available, parents and grandparents can make good choices when buying the best learning toys and games for their kids and grandkids. When I purchased my first VTech learning toy for my sons back in the 90's, I had no idea that VTech would become one of the top educational learning toys manufacturers for kids around the world. I am so pleased to be able to be able to purchase these toys for my grandson knowing that he is not only learning but having fun at the same time!

We've loved VTech toys here in my home, too. My kids are finally to the age that they are outgrowing them.

I love the Vtech toys. My grandkids have quite a few and are always being played with. I would strongly suggest these to anyone who's looking for that special gift for a child.

Interesting stuff. I am convinced that a toy with a spelling feature advanced my boys reading capabilities.
