Xbox One

With the reveal now over and the audience now checking the information and getting there checklists ready for when the gates open at E3 and the crowds just head to the demonstrations.

I mean it was nice watching the performers walk the stage and show us the dashboard and how it interacts with the TV guide in a nice fluid motion but when it comes down to it. I will be primarily be buying my Xbox One for gaming and not watching TV. So what interests the folk like me is how the likes of Destiny and co look.

When the queues of eagerly waiting gamers are unleashed upon the areas and having a look at the games the wait will be over and the countdown can then begin.

XBox One Technical Specs

So with the 8-core AMD CPU and 8GB RAM the system will show just a slight boost in performance. The 500GB HD will provide storage for the games and anything else you might wish to download. 40GB Blu-Ray. Three USB 3 ports. Max Res (3840 x 2160). Wired or Wireless network connections & 7.1 Surround Sound.

As I said a slight boost, lets see how the game companies use it.

Known Launch Titles

Well lets see, Destiny, Forza 5, Call of Duty: Ghosts, Ryse, Thief, Fifa 14, Madden 14, Watch Dogs, Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag, Need for Speed: Rivals, The Evil Within, The Witcher 3, Wolfenstein: The New Order, Dying Light, Cyberpunk 2077, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2, Battlefield 4, Rainbow 6: Patriots, NBA 14, UFC, Quantum Break.

I think that's most of them.

I myself have gone for an Xbox One, Destiny, Fifa 14 and a 2nd controller (in case a friend wants a go) but the shopping list may grow when I start watching more and more demos.
