Buy Diablo 3

Updated on August 30, 2017

Get ready to earn money on the real money auction house in D3

Diablo 3 went live on May 15th. After 12 years of patient waiting we will finally got to hack and slash our way through dungeons full of monsters and loot.

If you haven't already, I highly recommend buying Diablo III, both in the standard edition and in the super cool looking D3 collectors edition. The box of the latter is white rather than black and and together the two hints of the fight between good and evil that we will soon be ready to embark on.

One of the most debated features of Diablo 3 is the Real Money Auction house. In the fight against gold sellers who scam and cheat the players, Blizzard has decided to legalize the act of selling items and gold for real money. You can hook up your PayPal account with your Battle.net account and start funnelling your sales through that way.

Once the Real Money auction house launches on the 29th of May I will be testing how much money I can make this way and I will be sharing the information with you all.

Are you ready for the nr. 1 PC game of 2012?

The Standard edition of Diablo is for people that just want the game and who doesn't really care about all the extra. (check out the collectors edition below to see what you will be missing out on.)

In D3 you will be able to chose between 5 classes:

Witchdoctor

Wizard

Barbarian

Demonhunter

Monk

Each with their own unique talents and fighting styles.

Diablo III: Collector's Edition

The Collectors Edition of Diablo III comes with the full game like the standard edition, however you will also get the following:

Behind the scenes DVD

Full D3 soundtrack

An artbook for Diablo 3

A 4gb USB soulstone - comes with DII and DII Lord of Destruction and it rests in a skull holder that can be placed on your desk

2 special dyes in the game. Bottled Cloud and Bottled Smoke as wll as Tyraels Wings that you can toggle on and off your characters.

A Fetish Shaman Pet in World of Warcraft

SCII character portraits.

All this extra stuff is not going to affect your efficiency in the game, however it looks really cool and it is quite nifty for showing off in front of your friends, both ingame and out of the game.

Unfortunately at this point the Collector's Edition is sold out in most places. If you really want the Diablo 3 CE, then I suggest trying the eBay options below.

SteelSeries are well known for their quality gamer gear and the Diablo 3 Headset is no exception. It is lightweight so you can keep playing longer, it is almost soundproof so you can easily hear your team mates and lasty, it looks really awesome with the demon red LED light shining through the Diablo 3 logo.

Mouse Pad with Diablo 3 icon and Blizzard logo

For a true Diablo fan it is important to finish the gaming outfit. If you already have the D3 mouse and headphones, then you need the mousemat as well.

To maximize your efficiency you can buy this 400 page strategy game guide for Diablo 3.

While the quest guide and the artisan tips are nice, the really important thing for a min/maxer is the Beastiary and the Class information. Know your monsters and know your class, then you will be rolling through the waves of hellspawn easily.

The Diablo 3 Real Money Auction House

The announcement that Blizzard would allow people to buy and sell ingame items and gold for real money, divided the fans into two groups. Those that love it and those that hate it.

What is your opinion on the Real Money Auction House?
