Board Shorts Rule
Wearing board shorts instead of bikini bottoms like the Body Glove Men's Juan More Time Board Shorts are a way for me to be fashionable without exposing too much skin. Board shorts are versatile enough to be worn by both men and women. They are also stylish enough to be for the young as well as the more mature.
I'm a woman middle-ager. I like to be daring but am also rather modest, especially around the thigh area. For swimming, I love the surfing style board shorts but the women's shorts are too short or tight for me. On top, the rash shirts don't have enough support for the chest area. In addition, I would like some femininity in my look. What's the answer? Mix and match.
Body Glove Board Shorts
You need at least 2 swimsuits to alternate on vacation. Here are mine.
The first is my 'safe' suit. It's a skirted one piece halter top in black that flatters but is kind of a standard uniform for women trying to hide any bulges.
The second is my youthful, break out in color suit - but at my age (55) trying to look young can make you look more like a sad fool if you go about it the wrong way.
I'm a punker at heart. For me, board shorts are very appealing. I wanted to spruce up these board shorts so I found a flattering, curve hugging tankini top to wear with it. Top it off with a big sun hat and sunglasses and you have a fun look that you don't have to keep pulling and tugging at to keep it in place.
I combined Amazon swim suit images to give you an idea on the overall look. Check back this summer when I post some beach vacation pics. Kowabunga!!
