Cabin Fever Reliever 2
Not sure if this qualifies as a cabin but it sure is cool
Competitive Fire
Cabin Fever can also be called 'Competitive Fire' day. As I have seen with my family & my cousin's friends things can get very heated. Honestly though, it was pretty funny seeing them that way. Think of this page as the game shelf or the utility draw with the dice, cards and misellany game pieces in it.
So with this lens I have some more types of games at least Card and dice related, for you and will figure out what else I can include from the original Cabin Fever lens.

It's that time of year. Get yourself ready for to possibly be snowed in, or be sick in bed
Dice
The die (singular) or Dice (plural) can have more than one type of 'job'.
For some games you throw it to move your places on a board like Monopoly, others you shake them to (hopefully) get a good.. er 'hand' like Yatzee or Farkle.
Sometimes a card game is made into a dice one, I have a set of dice from a brand of cigarettes that you can play poker with. I think my favorite game played with dice (alone) is Farkle. I originally came across it on facebook, and then taught my mother and father to play. Though I always seem to beat mom (so I've grown bored of it) & dad never wants to play, so I've gone back to the Facebook version.
Dice are not only six sided, one day when I was still in school I was at a card/hobby shop and saw some gem looking dice that had 20 sides, a triangle shaped & a square one I saw, one that looked like a squashed diamond & a few others. These are called Polyhedral Dice, and from what I know they are usually used during games like Dungeons and Dragons (or so I've heard) You can see samples of these Odd & unuual Specialty Dice here
Dice don't always have numbers on them, sometimes, they are symbols , others letters (like for alphabet soup) and so on, Months days etc. variety of games like drinking & other adult types.
Somewhere among my stuff I even have a set of (i think they are) pewter dice. I know they are some sort of metal. These if I remember correctly were used during the revolutionary war (I hope that's the right war)
Don't remember if it's on the list but saw an image for a Liar's dice game and in my research I came across a Rock Paper scissors Lizard Spock set
Triangle dice are called Tetrahedron
Octohedron
Dodecahedron
Icosahedron
there's also a crystal shaped dice set
Snake Eyes - Dice Games
THere's also at least 3 versions I know of Rory's story cubes, great for kids to tell storys, as well as adults for promts when one has writer's block.

Fanning The competitive Flames - Card Games
So like with the dice section I tried to find a History of Playing cards infographic (at least for the time being) sadly I find all sorts for Credit & Business cards.. but have yet to find one for Playing cards. Go figure (that steams me) however & thankfully I found a A Brief history from Whitknucklecards & there is a wiki for it (but its all sorts of playing cards) History of Playing Cards In the wiki page it shows a set of round playing cards, and I actually have a deck! They were made in England I would think I came across them at a tag sale and just because I never saw a sdeck like that, I purchased them.
I think my cousin Kevin has Dominion, as it sounds familiar, and if it is.. he has if not all MANY editions of it. The last time I house sat for my aunt, Kevin showed me how to play a bit.
Elder sign, Arkham Horror is NOT appropriate for children & There's booster sets available for the Killer Bunny Game
