How to Beat Level 165 on Candy Crush

  • Your priority should be clearing the bombs as soon as you can. Remember, once a bomb goes off, your game is over. Fortunately, the bomb dropping pattern is predictable. They drop down every 5 moves. This means you should try to avoid matching candies at the sides every 5 moves.
  • After the bombs, you have to focus on keeping the chocolates under control. If you fail to do this, the board will be covered with a lot of chocolates, making it even more difficult to create special candies.
  • The objective in Level 165 is to collect 49 yellow, 24 green and 99 blue candies. Even if you have three candy colors to keep track of, the only one you really have to focus on is your blue candy order. Let the cascades take care of the yellow and green ones.
  • If there are very few blue candies on the board, try to clear other candy colors by setting off special candy combinations.
  • Try to save your big combos such as Color Bomb + Wrapped Candy and Color Bomb + Striped Candy. Make sure that you use it when they will have the biggest impact.
  • If you manage to create a Color Bomb, try to activate it with a blue candy. Remember, you have to clear 99 blue candies in just 60 moves or fewer. Special candies will make your job a lot easier.
  • Some find success in just concentrating on creating special candies. If you find that focusing on the blue candies alone doesn’t work for you, then you might want to take this approach. Try to set off as many special combinations as you can and let the cascades do the rest of the work for you.
